Ch.1-3, 6 - Leutschekta (Loi) is a terrifying goat spirit whose job it is to chase away evil spirits and diseases that would hurt humans. After he was burned by humans for his frightening appearance, he was taken in by the fire god Xiuhtecuhtli (Xiu), who remade Lio's body to make him cute and gave him a human form, and the two have been together ever since. But Lio is scared to let Xiu know that he still goes out and destroys demons and illness for humans since Xiu seems to dislike humans so much. Trigger warnings: burned alive, attempted suicide. Ch.4-5 - Mori Takara is an ordinary young man with no friends or family who everyone seems to overlook. The only person who looks out for him is his older neighbor, Katabami. But when an old friend appears offering Takara a job, Katabami seems ill at ease. Takara doesn't realize that his lack of presence comes from his berserker's soul being stolen by a living sword in his former life, and that sword is closer than he thinks. Trigger warning: kidnapping, gore.

Ch.1-4 - Troublemaker! - Shiina Ayumu is openly gay, cheerful, and popular, but he's had some terrible luck with men in the past. Unfortunately, his high school classmate Hayase Souta has seen his bad breakups every time, and when they run into each other again in college, Hayase remembers him as a crybaby. Shiina tries to show him he's changed only to get dumped again, after which he tries to make Hayase "comfort" him. After that, Shiina battles between vindictive feelings and attraction he feels toward Hayase, while Hayase can't help but want to show Shiina a better relationship. Shiina's a bit of a jerk, but I feel like he's struggling and confused, so it's realistic in this setting. Overall, interesting and well-written characters. Trigger warnings: cheating, noncon, rape, bondage, choking. Ch.5-6 - I'm Definitely Cute! - Shirane Keiichi is a salaryman who happened on a cross-dressing shop with his coworkers and insulted the cross-dressing shopkeeper, Kurokawa Naoya. But Keiichi came back the next day, because he's secretly a cross-dresser himself. As he continues to frequent the shop, saying it's for a "friend," he and Naoya are getting closer and he comes to want Naoya to see all his cutest sides. A simple, nice relationship. No trigger warnings.

Ch.1-4 - If You Took Me to a Deserted Island - When Akagi was in high school, he had a crush on his classmate Ichimori that caused him to overreact and shove Ichimori away, leading to an injury that put an end to his judo career. After that, he told Ichimori he would do anything for him and became his slave before the two parted ways. Now that Akagi is an established working man, Ichimori has turned up again asking for a place to stay, and yet again, Akagi feels he can't deny him. But what will he do about all the feelings that keep threatening to return? Trigger warnings: gore, coercion. Ch.5-6 - My Master is a Spoiled Child - Akiho is the secretary of elite company president, Hisakuni, a job anyone would envy. But the truth is, Hisakuni is a spoiled brat who's made Akiho do everything for him since they were kids. But when Akiho gets injured and it becomes Hisakuni's turn to take care of him, Hisakuni is eager to use the opportunity to get even closer. No trigger warnings.

Ch.1-2 - The Far Eastern Bridegroom - Kichiya is a gay prostitute until Asura, king of a fictional desert country, buys him. Though they have trouble communicating at first, Asura showers Kichiya with love until he understands that maybe he can actually be happy with Asura. They should have done something with the typesetting to distinguish between the language being spoken. Trigger warnings: sex work, attempted rape, lying/manipulation. Ch.3 - The Flower of War - Julius and Leon were childhood friends who were torn apart by war only to be reunited on opposite sides when Leon was taken as a prisoner of war and Julius was the one to interrogate him. Julius rapes Leon night after night without questioning him, leaving Leon hurt and confused, but Julius has more up his sleeve than Leon realizes.. Trigger warnings: wartime violence, torture, rape. Ch.4 - The Moral Code of Love - When Jin was taken in by the yakuza boss after the death of his parents, the boss's son Masamune immediately wanted him, but his dad said he wasn't ready for that, and he could have Jin when he was strong enough to take over the clan. Now, Jin is assigned to work with Masamune for the first time, but Masamune realizes Jin and his father may still be hiding things from him. Trigger warning: violence. Ch.5 - My Hero - When Asami is nearly raped by some bullies (adult bullies?), he's saved by tough guy Shuuhei and vows to get stronger, asking Shuuhei to teach him to fight. The two get closer as Asami starts training to increase his stamina, but when Asami sees that Shuuhei is actually a member of the yakuza, Shuuhei tries to put an end to things. But Asami isn't ready to let go. Trigger warnings: bullying, attempted rape, violence. Ch.6 - Cosplay Game - Makoto and Keiji are an established couple, but when Keiji suddenly asks about cosplay, Makoto worries his lover is bored with their sex life and tries to spice things up. No trigger warnings.

Ch.1 & 6- The Conquest King of a Wasteland - When the warlord Azim invades Ulra's nation, Ulra attempts to assassinate him on behalf of his people. Azim catches him, rapes him, then lets him go, but Ulra finds he has nowhere to go back to. However, Azim is ready to give Ulra a place to belong. Trigger warnings: rape, attempted suicide. Ch.2 - Truthful Words - Kaname has been friends with his stoic, younger neighbor Shouta for years, but after his most recent breakup, Kaname comes over while Shouta is trying to drown his sorrows. Then, Shouta unexpectedly gains the ability to read Kaname's mind, and realizes Kaname is thinking about him a lot more than he ever thought. No trigger warnings. Ch.3 - The Twins’ Lover - Youhei lost his parents at a young age and was taken in by his master and raised alongside his twin sons Rei, and Jin. Now that Youhei is reaching adulthood and his master is ill, Rei and Jin's relatives are pressing the boys to kick him out. Rei and Jin would never do it, but Youhei worries that he'll burden them, especially as his feelings have gone beyond friendship. But when he tries to leave, the twins aren't ready to let him. No trigger warnings. Ch.4 - Garden - Kengo is the gardener's grandson at a large estate that was recently inherited by the young master Masumi. When they were children, Masumi sexually abused Kengo, and now that he's an adult, he threatens to fire Kengo as well. But Kengo is ready to turn the tables on him this time. I really hated this one, would not read again. Trigger warning: child on child sexual abuse, noncon. Ch.5 - The Love Call to the Master - Yuuki's father is deeply in debt, so he drugs him and sells him to Midou, who says he'll make Yuuki into a prostitute. But really Midou has had his eye on Yuuki for a long time and is delighted to have him now. Even worse than the last story, will not read again. Several stories set in a fantasy world about "Hanas" or high class male prostitutes. Trigger warning for all: sex work. Ch.1, 7 - A Flower that's Sacrificed to Pure Love - Though Daniel was raised the son of a gardener, he fell in love with his master, Tsubaki, who was destined to become a Hana as an adult. To make himself worthy of Tsubaki, Daniel studied abroad and came back as an accomplished gardener, but Tsubaki has since taken on another patron. No additional trigger warnings. Ch.2-4, 7 - A Flower that Blooms in First Love - Katsumi is a Japanese man who hates going with his boss to the place where the Hanas work, until he meets Shrill, a young boy in training to become a Hana who seems lonely. The two begin meeting and fall in love, but when they are seen kissing, Shrill is forced to become a full-fledged Hana and leave Katsumi behind, prompting Shrill to run away so he can at least spend his first night with the man he loves. Trigger warning: statutory rape/pedophilia. Ch.5-6 - A Flower that is Frozen in Reminiscence - Iris was taken in and raised lovingly as a Hana by the lord of Alexxa. But now the lord is dead, and his heir, Leonard, seems to despite Iris. Despite this, when Iris attempts to leave, Leonard assaults him and forbids him from leaving until he dies. But which of these two men truly hate the other? Trigger warning: mention of child grooming, rape. Ch.9-10 - Imitation Gold - Edward is a proud nobleman who despised his friend Gilford's decision to throw away his nobility to become a moneylender, but now Edward is in need of money and Gilford demands his body as payment. Trigger warnings: rape.

Ch.1 - Music of the Blue Sky - Aoi is a male prostitute working in a brothel who gets selected by the young nobleman Akeboshi. Akeboshi is known for causing trouble in the brothel before over a prostitute he fell in love with, but this time he just wants to listen to Aoi play music for him. As the two talk and he listens to Aoi's music, Aoi realizes he's fallen in love with Akeboshi, though Akeboshi's heart still belongs to another. Slightly bittersweet with a hopeful ending. I liked it. Trigger warning: sex work. I believe ch.2-3 are short oneshots about characters from another of the author's works. Ch.3 has an underage (child) prostitute, so be warned. Ch.4 - Raider Black - Matsuba was once a young lord, but his family fortune fell apart and his father died. In that moment, a former family servant, Suou, returned, and even though Suou stole from them when he left, Matsuba trusted him as a child and thought he returned to save him. But Suou returned for revenge on Matsuba's father who cheated, impregnated and abandoned his sister, and since Matsuba's father is dead, he takes it out on Matsuba instead by forcing him into prostitution and buying him every night. Not really my thing, but I do appreciate the complex emotions being depicted. Trigger warnings: sex trafficking, sex work, rape. - Wind Chime - a prostitute and a customer trade ghost stories, but the prostitute was a ghost all along! - The King and the Potion - A noble-hearted young king is introduced to the red light district and sees a boy selling himself for his first time. He buys the boy, Moegi, to save him, but the two are drugged and have a wild first night. After that, Moegi works at the palace and the two have a happy, chaste romance, until Moegi is convinced to leave by the king's enemies. The king then wastes away, and only Moegi's return can save him. This one was a bit fairytale-esque, but very cute and fun. Trigger warnings: sex work, attempted murder.

Ch.1 - If it's for You, no Matter How Far - Takachiho is stern but easily decieved detective who has finally caught the blithe criminal Nanami on a deserted island, but getting him all the way inland and into a jail will be a whole different story with Nanami's hiijinks and straight-up lies to deal with all along the way. Very cute, funny, and unique. Trigger warning: noncon, lying/manipulation. Ch.2 - Magical Butler - An unnamed salesman is pushing his product on the butler Tsuruhami when it turns out Tsuruhami recently lost his master and he begs the salesman to become his master instead. But it turns out that his previous master trained Tsuruhami to please him sexually. Salesman isn't saying no though. It was still funny, but this one skeezed me out. Wasn't for me. Trigger warning: light dubcon, implied grooming. Ch.3-5 - Yamada is a high school student always being dumped for oversharing about his interests (and not listening), and he goes crying to his best friend Ishimaru about it who listens patiently, if unenthusiastically. But when Yamada realizes that Ishimaru blushes every time they touch, he realizes Ishimaru might be in love with him! Or...not? A clumsy love story with no trigger warnings. Vol.2 Ch.1-5.5 - Takaichiho and Nanami are here once again, but this time it's 1,000 years in the past! In Heian era Japan, Nanami has started a business that steals customers from the local onmyoji using confusion due to its similar name, and Takaichiho is the general who is supposed to get him to change the name. They quickly forget about that though and get into all kinds of ghost and supernatural related shenanigans. Absolute wacky madness up in here. Also mpreg. Trigger warning: dubcon.

Ch.1-2 - Hiyodori is an orphan who was raised in a brothel, and even though he's an adult now, he's been sheltered by the workers and is hopelessly innocent. Enter the handsome sea captain Shyougetsu, a friend of the owner who first found Hiyodori, who says he'll step up to teach Hiyodori about what it means to be an adult (sexually), leading Hiyodori to fall in love. It's short and sweet if you're into the very young, feminine type of uke, but they really did depict Hiyodori as just too childlike for my comfort. Trigger warning: feels like statutory rape. Ch.3-5 - Jan is a vampire who was caught by the part werewolf priest, Asu, and though he hates being fed blood packs instead of fresh blood, he's come to enjoy the physical aspects of their relationship. But when the father figure who raised them both (separately?) and formerly was Jan's lover returns, they have to prove their relationship. Weird stuff, not my cup of tea. Trigger warning: pedophilia.

Ch.1-2, 6.5 - 5 Seconds - Hayato has special eyes that have been passed down in his family. For him, this means that when he meets eyes with someone for five seconds he can copy their "sensuality," so he uses his friends to help him jerk off. The one person he won't use is his childhood friend, Tsukasa, who he's tried to avoid since he realized his ability, but Tsukasa is too sharp not to notice, and when Hayato accidentally copies some eyes he shouldn't have and goes into heat, only Tsukasa can help him. A kind of random and unexpected setup, but I liked the characters well enough. Trigger warning: dubcon(heat). Ch.3 - The Way to Nurture Love - Keiichirou is a normal working man who got dragged to a gay bar and told to pick his type, so he randomly pointed to a worker, but when they turned around he saw it was actually his long lost twin brother, Yuuichirou. Yuu seems to be living life as a woman now, and Kei isn't sure he approves, but he can't help but worry, so he invites Yuu to live with him. But the longer they live together, the more the feelings from their past that forced Yuu to leave seem to reemerge. I liked it, but it is an incest story, so don't read if that's not your thing. Note: I don't think Yuu identifies as a woman, so if you're looking for trans characters, he won't really fit the bill. Trigger warnings: incest, transphobia(?). Ch.4 - Too - An unnamed protagonist (Nameless-kun) lives an ordinary college life, except for the fact that he has a stalker following him every day, buying and wearing all the same clothes as him, and putting not-so-secret cameras in his apartment, which is especially weird since he's a nobody and his stalker, Kudou, is quite popular. Nameless-kun doesn't see it as causing any harm though, so he lets it go until one day Kudou seems to stop dressing like him, causing Nameless-kun to wonder if his affections have changed, and that's when he realizes just how much he's been watching Kudou in turn. I'm not really into stalker romances, but this one was fine for what it was. Trigger warning: stalking. Ch.5 - Itai no, Itai no - Rei spends every day at high school breaking up fights between his childhood friends, Takuma, and Shinobu, who are at each other's throats over everything but insist on spending time together because of Rei. But Rei knows that secretly, the two are in a physical relationship fueled by their shared masochism. Rei has trauma to do with pain that has caused him to develop a masochistic streak too, so he wants in on this. Not my thing. Trigger warnings: masochism, suicide, voyuerism, violence, violent sex. Ch.6 - Mushuusei no Ohisama - Aki and Asahi were friends in high school when Asahi said he'd become the best actor ever and Aki promised to be the one to shoot it on film. Now, years later, Asahi seems to have given up on his dream and only works in the porn industry, but Aki is still determined to capture the best of him. But when they fight, Aki decides to rape Asahi on camera to show him all the faces he hasn't seen yet. Or something. I wasn't really paying attention because I don't like rape stories.
