Ilya is an omega brought to the desert country of Hanu as a bride for their king Khalid. Though he sees himself as little more than a prisoner, the people of this country believe omegas are messengers of the gods and revere him. Meanwhile, his new husband is still a child, but as the two get to know each other better, Ilya begins to look forward to protecting this country together, until Khalid is suddenly killed and his position is usurped by his older brother. Ilya is forced to go on the run, but he decides to stay in Hanu and protect its people as best he can, just as he promised Khalid. The years pass, and a rebel organization continues to fight against the new king, but when Ilya finally runs into the rebel leader, he finds a familiar face. I like the pacing of this story a lot. It's one in which the time skip feels useful and not forced. Trigger warnings: attempted rape, attempted murder, wartime violence.

Although this completely shatters Chika's perceptions of himself, and although his sexual urges threaten to run wild whenever Haruka is near, Chika can't stay away from Haruka, even if it means abusing his suppressants to give them more time together. This story is not for everyone since it has a teenage lead in love with an elementary schooler, but I honestly think it's an interesting take on the omegaverse and the idea of fated pairs and was overall handled well. His friend tricks him into going to a male omega brothel where he meets the buff male omega Ryuji who treats him gently and helps him overcome his past trauma. But as they get closer, Hijiri falls for Ryuji without knowing how much of this is a job to him, and meanwhile, Ryuji feels conflicted about continuing this without telling Hijiri the full truth he needs to know. Trigger warning: rape.

Taisei is helping his sister with her BL omegaverse manga when he dies and gets reincarnated into her story as a character based on him. Because she said she'd decide his second gender based on his partner, Taisei ends up with his second gender undecided, for now. But as the second male lead of the original story, an alpha named Jasper, keeps getting close to him, Taisei starts moving closer and closer to becoming an omega, a fate he'd rather avoid. The main couple is interesting to me, but the story has honestly gone on longer than it feels like it needs to. Trigger warnings: dubcon(heat), discrimination.

Worried about her grandson facing all this alone, his grandmother forces Yoshiharu to attend wedding interviews that all go terribly, until one guy drugs him. Yoshiharu is out of it, but he swears he smells the pheromones of his fated pair, but the only person there, his faithful retainer Makoto, says there was no one. Then, only days later, Yoshiharu smells it again and realizes Makoto isn't the beta he thought he was, and is actually his fated pair. But while Yoshiharu is ready to go all in on Makoto despite his general hatred of alphas, Makoto struggles to believe in Yoshiharu's feelings or that he could ever be good enough. I liked that Yoshiharu's character was strong and not a pushover, even though he was an omega, though he was rescued once. ️Trigger warnings: drug (heat), attempted rape.
