Shoushin Otoko ni Haru no Arashi
Struggling writer Koga befriend his high school neighbor Kei who becomes a regular fixture at his house. Kei encourages Koga to pursue his abandoned dreams of photography, but Koga feels too old and burnt out for those dreams and for the feelings that Kei seems to harbor for him. A cute little slice of life love. No trigger warnings.
Kono Yakuza, Toriko ni Shite Miseru~tsu!
Chikage is the son of a yakuza boss who gets spoiled in everything, except the one thing he really wants—the second-in-command Aizawa's love! Since he assumes Aizawa is straight, he figures the only way for them to stay together is for him to take over the clan, but his father and Aizawa both are having none of it. So when Aizawa finally offers Chikage a bet that he has one month to seduce Aizawa and if he succeeds Aizawa will help him but if he fails, Chikage will give it up forever, Chikage jumps at the chance thinking it may be his only opportunity to touch the person he loves. But even though Aizawa seems to go along, he won't go all away due to reasons of his own that he absolutely doesn't want Chikage to know. Chikage is one of the prettiest ukes you'll see and he's also an innocent sweetheart, while Aizawa is pretty much your basic tough, handsome seme. So it's an okay story with some great eye candy. Trigger warning: kidnapping, attempted rape, attempted self harm.
Onii-chan Datte Amaetai Wake de
Kanata always feels the pressure of being a big brother to his brother Keita, so he lets off steam by working in a "little brother" style sex shop where men spoil him. But when Keita finds out, it prompts the two to finally talk to each other and realize they've both been unfairly judging the other all along, reconciling. Only now that they're closer than ever, Keita has realized his feelings for his brother go deeper than normal familial relationships. Trigger warnings: sex work, attempted rape, incest.
Paradise View
Hideo and Tomohisa have been dating for several years now, and after doing long-distance while Tomohisa was in medical school, they're finally living together and life seems perfect. But when Hideo's family becomes increasingly pushy about him getting married, he comes out to them suddenly then gets told he's only pitying Tomohisa and begins to doubt his feelings. While they're still dealing with this, Tomohisa is offered a position in Germany, further pulling the two apart, despite their desires to be together. Honestly, this one is pretty good, but I had a hard time wrapping my head around the central conflict they were having. Also the last chapter, 8.1, is a little abrupt and upsetting for some. Trigger warning: homophobia.
Hachi no Kubiwa
Yata (nickname Hachi) let his younger childhood friend Rin put a collar on him as a game when they were young, but at that moment he awakened as a sub and his body accepted Rin as his pair. He moved away and has spent the rest of his life taking medicine and proving to himself he doesn't need to rely on anybody to survive, but now Rin is coming back into his life as a student of his at university. No trigger warnings.
Kiraware Joushi to Perfect Buka
Kouhei Igarashi is a terrible boss, the kind who abuses his power and talks down to his workers. Wataru Momose is his perfect subordinate who always has a scary look on his face. It turns out, that's because Momose is in love with Igarashi and gets too nervous when he talks to him, and he's also unflappably optimistic, so he takes all of Igarashi's criticisms as compliments and loves him for it. Igarashi is a truly unlikable main character, though to be fair, it is Momose who takes advantage of him while drunk. Trigger warnings: drunk sex, power imbalance.
