He ends up sharing lunchtime at a tree with the school janitor, who also avoids people and they don't talk. After the janitor saves him from a rape attempt, Dai falls in love. Seijirou helps high schooler Ryou when he falls asleep on the train, only to realize they live in the same building. He asks Ryou to start cooking for him, but soon he’s head over heels and has to decide what to do about it. No trigger warnings.

Akane’s(omega) unique ability to see pheromones as crystals has been nothing but trouble, but it does help him recognize his former school nurse, Mikase, on the street by his distinctly clear crystals. After the two are reunited, Akane feels his first love coming back, but Mikase keeps a careful distance as he still sees Akane as a student and has some secrets of his own. (Ch 1-2) Yuuta fell in love with his brother’s friend Souichi years ago during their tutoring sessions, but he’s settled with being sex friends since Souichi’s already in love with Yuuta’s brother. But when Yuuta sees Souichi and his brother together, he can’t take it anymore and finally confronts him. A couple of cute idiots who make for a silly couple. Trigger warning: implied statutory rape. (Ch. 3-4) Yuuta’s long-suffering friend Saitou has been protecting him from shady guys for years, so when Yuuki first gets close to him, he’s sure it’s another weirdo after his friends. But Yuuki won’t be deterred and insists on being his friend, and maybe more. I’m glad to see a really good and protective friend who wasn’t secretly in love, and it’s great that he gets a happy ending. No trigger warnings. (Ch. 5-6) Chef Toyoguchi’s friend Ohshima is so perfect it’s depressing to be around him, but at least Toyoguchi has him beat at cooking! Until it turns out Ohshima can totally cook for himself, but he hid it to get closer to Toyoguchi. This couple didn’t really interest me, besides which Ohshima looks almost identical to the first seme. Still, no big problems with it. No trigger warnings.

Hideo’s a cram school teacher who found out his friend is dating one of his students, Tomohisa. Oddly, this brings Hideo and Tomohisa closer together, until Tomohisa gets his heart broken leaving Hideo to pick up the pieces. But Hideo was already struggling to keep his feelings for Tomohisa in check, so how far will he dare to go? Tomohisa is so cute, it makes it fun to read for his sake, and it’s nice to get to see so much of their relationship over time. Trigger warnings: cheating, statutory rape, drunk sex.

Kishi gets plastered after losing his best friend to marriage only to wake up to the cute young bartender, Nao taking care of him. Nao makes Kishi realize he was actually in love with his friend and offers "hug therapy," to make him feel better. But when this becomes a regular thing between them, Kishi starts to wonder if his "always alone" lifestyle is really enough. Cute characters, good progression, and nice character growth for an all around fun read. No trigger warnings.

Ren's a high school student in love with his best friend, but after waking up with his sister's boyfriend mistakenly entering his bed, he finds himself interacting more with Kazuya, who offers to "help him out" by touching him. As their relationship progresses, Kazuya moves from playing with Ren to feeling guilty for what he's done to him as he realizes he's causing Ren to relive his own trauma. This story is interesting, and I enjoyed it, but at the end of the day, there's no defending Kazuya as a male lead. Trigger warnings: noncon, cheating, rape, statutory rape.

Shiina(omega) is a bellboy who's always dreamed of becoming a concierge after one helped him when he was crying as a child. But omegas aren't allowed to work in this hotel, so he takes advantage of his mild symptoms to pass himself off as a beta, until he meets Toujou(alpha), the very man he admires, and goes into heat! Toujou admires Shina's dedication, so he promises to hide his gender and help him with the new symptoms of his heats, but as the two grow closer, Shina realizes that Toujou may be putting his own career in jeopardy for him. These two are adorable, if a bit cliche. It's a fun omegaverse read. Trigger warnings: light dubcon (just regular heat stuff), discrimination.

Kajima (author, 30) and Hiro (student, 20) are sex friends and they’re both happy that way. That is, until Hiro catches Kajima holding a book by his favorite author and Kajima misses the chance to tell him that it’s really him. They bond over Kajima’s writing, but just as their relationship starts to grow, Hiro’s stalker comes back into the picture, forcing them to live together before they define the relationship. Good story, cute uke, and some well-developed side characters, but the fact they went easy on the abusive stalker because he has a daughter burns me up! Anyway, still very good. Trigger warnings: stalking, mentions of violence.
