Honestly, this one was fine until they reached the point where Mahiru refused Keito without giving ANY explanation. It just made the whole complicated misunderstanding seem weird and forced. A lot of shenanigans ensue. I feel like the smut got in the way of the story sometimes, but overall a fun and cute read. Trigger warnings: sex work, drunk sex, violence, suicide.

Unfortunately, her next door neighbor, Yuki, is a good-for-nothing college student who drinks, fools around with girls, and skips class, generally setting a terrible example for her daughter, but the two end up involved anyway with an agreement to help one another. I really love the setting and would honestly be thrilled if it never got romantic and was just the story of how her younger neighbor became a coparent to her child, but I'm sure it'll be cute as a romance, too.
