Luan is a CEO living in a penthouse apartment. One day he overhears his downstairs neighbor Yul singing, and he can't get it out of his head. Furthermore, Yul is unexpectedly living with the idol Yijun, who Luan is targeting as part of his revenge. So when Luan's kitty breaks into Yul's apartment, this gives Luan the perfect opportunity to get closer to Yul and possibly use him against Yijun. But now that he and Yul have gone all the way, he can't stand to use Yul anymore, and decides to give him back his stolen life instead. Trigger warnings: forced confinement, attempted suicide, violence, murder, stalking, kidnapping, suicide.

Hitomi was raised in a family with all girls, so he really admires his tall and manly neighbor, Kamiya, even if he looks a little scary at first glance. He even makes extra food to share with Kamiya in the hopes of seeing him smile, but one day Kamiya reacts strangely and jumps on Hitomi, and not only does Kamiya barely manage to hold back from raping him, he suddenly grows a pair of animal ears. It turns out Kamiya has the rare disease of theriomorphosis that spontaneously turns people into animal hybrids while also drastically increasing their sex drive. Hitomi wants to help Kamiya, but Kamiya is having trouble adjusting to his new world while also keeping his urges in check. Trigger warning: noncon.

Kaito is a college student with a free and loud sex life that irritates his neighbor, Ryo. But one day, Kaito overhears Ryo on the balcony having phone sex and finds Ryo's voice so sexy he can't help but jerk off. This causes Ryo to basically assault him, after which the two start an ambiguous physical relationship once Kaito can't get Ryo out of his head. Kaito eventually realizes that Ryo is actually the voice on the other end of a kid's help hotline he used to call in middle school and was his first love, before he suddenly quit and broke Kaito's heart. Now that Kaito has realized his feelings for Ryo, but he's scared of what will happen if he reveals everything, but he's desperate not to lose Ryo a second time. After the first sex scene, which is rape (Ryo's stupid denial notwithstanding. "You do realize this is consensual," my ass), the story is actually pretty cute and interesting. Ch.1-3 - I am no Match for the First Love! - Shinokawa always adored his friend Kaede as children, but they've since drifted apart. As an adult, Shinokawa is delighted to find he's coincidentally moved in right next door to Kaede, though Kaede seems less thrilled. Still, Shinokawa keepds trying to get closer to Kaede until one drunken night, Kaede admits he likes anal play, and Shinokawa decides to shoot his shot. After that, Shinokawa insists they're dating, no matter what Kaede says. Shinokawa is a bit pushy, but I enjoy Kaede's manly shyness. Trigger warning: drunk intimacy. Ch.4-5 - Past our Complexes - Itsuki is a shy, quiet kid who seems totally opposite to the popular and handsome Yura, but secretly the two are friends who have bonded over their inability to handle talking to women. Now Yura wants to take their relationship one step further, but Itsuki still sees them as friends. When Itsuki asks Yura to help him speak to girls more, Yura invites a girl into their friend group, and the dynamic between them changes. Cute enough, I wish the girl got to have her own story more, but I get that it's not about her. No trigger warnings.

Sakuraba loves cutesy things, cooking, and shoujo manga, so when he finds out his favorite manga artist, Megumi, is his next door neighbor, he's amazed. He ends up helping Megumi after he collapses, and after that Sakuraba starts cooking for Megumi, or Sato as he prefers to be called, nearly every day. But when Sakuraba realizes his feelings have crossed the gap between admiration and love, he has no idea how to go on. Cute and sweet, but it felt short. No trigger warnings.

Uzuki is a regular doctor who doesn't want trouble, but when a stray cat leads him to a yakuza bleeding out in an alleyway, he can't ignore it. The next day, the yakuza, Nonami, winds up at Uzuki's hospital looking for his savior, whom he thinks is a woman named Suzuki. But the more time Nonami spends with Uzuki, the more he realizes who he's really reacting to. Interesting and funny dynamic, worth a read. Trigger warnings: violence, attempted rape.

Yuu loves his older neighbor, Tsubaki, who has been with him practically all his life. Since Yuu accidentally injured Tsubaki and left a scar as a baby, he decided he had to take responsibility for Tsubaki by always being with him, and even being his lover! Tsubaki loves spending time with his cute younger neighbor, but he fails to realize just how serious Yuu is. Very cute so far. No trigger warnings.

Kurama is a goblin who has spent hundreds of years protecting the mountain, and when a group of demons moves in and causes a mess, he goes to confront them only to fall for their leader, Hijiri, at first sight. The goblins turn out to be kind neighbors, but Kurama's heart is broken when he sees Hijiri having sex with one of his men. But when he finds out they're just friends with benefits, Kurama thinks he may have a chance, after all! Not as much depth to this story as I hoped, but it's still a fun, quick read. No trigger warnings.
