In high school, Katsumi harshly rejected his best friend Maki’s confession. Now, ten years later they reunite and Maki finds that Katsumi’s regrets from that time have caused him to seek out violent sex as a way of punishing himself. Maki can’t help but intervene and tries to help Katsumi forgive himself. I love the aspect of the one who was rejected not having trauma, but gently seeking to heal his friend. Though it’s sad, it’s still a sweet and gentle love. Side story about a city boy who moves to the country and the neighbor boy who takes care of him finding love.

Seijirou helps high schooler Ryou when he falls asleep on the train, only to realize they live in the same building. He asks Ryou to start cooking for him, but soon he’s head over heels and has to decide what to do about it. No trigger warnings.

Haruto is a regular man who winds up with a schoolboy as his neighbor who he starts to cook for. But when the high schooler, Ren, tries to repay him with a sexual favor, he gets the sense that something is very wrong in Ren’s life. Kei encourages Koga to pursue his abandoned dreams of photography, but Koga feels too old and burnt out for those dreams and for the feelings that Kei seems to harbor for him. Kazu's younger neighbor, Kei, comes to live with Kazu's family after a fire only to blackmail Kazu into sex. Kei It's pretty stalkerish, but Kazu is a masochist and Kei wears him down. Smutty with good art, but the story was a bit of a miss for me. Not one I'll probably read again. Trigger warnings: Blackmail, noncon, rape, gangrape, BDSM.

Miku has a fear of men because of her stalker, but her feminine new neighbor (male) might be just what she needs to turn things around. A smutty romance with a non typical male lead that makes it very interesting and beautiful artwork. Trigger warnings: stalking, noncon, kidnapping(?)

Momo sells himself to get by until he meets Yata, a man who can’t help but take care of cute things. They build a relationship but Momo has a lot of trauma that he needs to unwillingly work through. They’re a very cute and believable couple and the story works through real issues in a meaningful way, so it’s worth a read.
