Momo sells himself to get by until he meets Yata, a man who can’t help but take care of cute things. They build a relationship but Momo has a lot of trauma that he needs to unwillingly work through. They’re a very cute and believable couple and the story works through real issues in a meaningful way, so it’s worth a read. Yukimura's always taken care of his sick younger brother on his own, and it's finally pushed him to sell his body. But just when he thinks he can't go through with it, he's saved by the worst possible person, his former high school teacher, Kurosu, who already saw him getting assaulted once in high school and mistook it for paid sex. But when Yukimura tries to chase him off by asking if he'll be his partner, Kurosu takes him up on that and drags him to his house where they have their first night. After that, Kurosu offers to take Yukimura in as a live-in housekeeper and pay him for sex, provided he not offer his services to anyone else. Yukimura needs the money so he goes for it, but just as he starts to settle into their life together, Kurosu asks him when he's going to leave, and Yukimura realizes that Kurosu may already have someone else. Honestly, the misunderstandings in this plot are stupid, but Yukimura is a really strong and interesting character, even if I can't personally respect the teacher. Kousuke is a male prostitute who's also part of the yakuza, and he recently woke up with no memory of the crazy night he supposedly spent with his customer Inami. Kousuke begins to hear about a new drug called Pierce being distributed in his gang's territory and wonders if Inami drugged him that first night, even as they continue to meet. But it turns out that Inami is really a detective investigating Pierce, and he wants Kousuke to be his informant. Pretty good slow burn on the relationship, but the final chapter was confusing and didn't wrap things up particularly well. Still a good read. Trigger warnings: sex work, drugs.

Ch.1-3 - Kawasaki is overworked at the office, so on a whim, he books a maid escort service only to find it's a man who arrives. But after giving Nao a shot, he's hooked and starts to want even more. Trigger warning: sex work. Ch.4-6 - Italian chef Atsushi is shocked when his young temp worker, Eita, confesses to him, and though he tries to reject him, Eita is just too persistent! But even though Atsushi starts to return Eita's feelings, how can he accept Eita's love if it risks ruining his future? I like this second couple a lot, and I like that Atsushi's worries are legitimate and not your typical "but he could be normal and have a family!" stuff you often see in mangas. No trigger warnings.

(Ch.1-3, 6) Thanatos is a shinigami who kills time watching an entertaining human, Asahi, who can't help but get involved with others, until Thanatos is assigned to take his life. Thanatos can't go through with it, so he ends up assigned to Asahi's office in the human world until he can complete his mission. But if he fails, he'll disappear, meaning either he kills Asahi or dies himself. Fine, cute story, though the switch to an office romance in ch.2 seemed a little random. No trigger warnings. (Ch.4) Takamura is in a relationship with his coworker, Isaki, but Isaki seems a little too close to their female coworker, Miyama. Takamura is determined to get the exact nature of their relationship out of Isaki through sex. Trigger warning: punishment sex/dubcon. (Ch.5) Hotaru is a male prostitute on an island full of people illegally trafficked there. Maki is his strange new customer who never sleeps with him. Hotaru quickly figures out that Maki is actually an investigator, but when his investigation comes to an end and the brothel is shut down, they both know Hotaru will be deported, making it hard for Maki to bring things to a close. Sweet and touching, though the end felt a little rushed. Trigger warning: sex work.

Kichiro is a naive rich kid at his first job when he gets literally dragged into the problems of male prostitute, Natsuo. To pay him back for the trouble, Natsuo sleeps with Kichiro, and Kichiro falls head over heels. After that, he's determined to win Natsuo's heart bit by bit, and even though Natsuo feels like their worlds are too different, he can't help but find Kichiro endearing. I like Kichiro and his pure relationship with his grandma a lot. Trigger warnings: sex work, statutory rape.

Shun is a tabloid reporter who blows off steam by having casual sex with prostitutes, and his favorite part is the kissing, so he's a little disappointed when he books a man who looks ideal, Nao, only to find out he's saving his first kiss for his first love. Still, Shun is intrigued and keeps calling Nao back, until it's obvious they've both become a much bigger part of each other's lives. I don't know that the actual story is that believable, but they were cute enough, and I liked that Nao's sister got to give some encouragement. Trigger warnings: sex work, blackmail.

Touhou is teacher known for his demonic sternness, so he really wants to keep it under wraps that at night he hires male prostitutes to accompany him. When he hires a new man and his former trouble student Miyamoto shows up, Touhou is eager to get him to leave, but Miyamoto insists on finishing the job. But once the night is over, Touhou starts to worry about his former student and what led him to this lifestyle, so he calls Miyamoto again, leading them to begin meeting regularly. But Miyamoto, who used to hate Touhou for his sternness, has found that his feelings are changing. Trigger warnings: sex work, S&M.

In a world with humans and cat beastmen who use humans as sex tools to get through their "heats," a young black cat boy named Meri lives alone due to the belief that black cats are cursed until he finds a human man named Kai on his doorstep. Kai is an escaped sex slave who starts to take care of Kai to repay him while insisting that his "curse" is nothing to be afraid of. When Kai has his first heat, he realizes the only person he wants to touch him is Kai, and the two admit their love. But what will happen when Kai admits his plan all along has been to run away across the seas in search of a better life? Either unfinished or has a very abrupt ending, but still cute. Trigger warning: feels like statutory rape (Meri's age is not established, and he's treated as sexually mature, but he looks young).

Haru is a popular male prostitute top who gets dragged along to a host club where he meets the club's #2, Shinya, and they quickly hit it off, until Shinya starts going on about how Haru really wants to bottom. Still, Shinya is totally Haru's type, but he's is determined not to be taken in by Shinya's sales tactics, until it turns out Shinya knows Haru from something more than just the club. The more Haru realizes Shinya's affection may be genuine, the harder it is to turn him down, and soon, he's head over heels for this flirty boy. Trigger warnings: sex work, dubcon, bondage.
