Baretakunaikedo Koishitai
Arata maintains the perfect image of a popular college guy with a girlfriend all to hide that he's gay, but after kissing a "geek," Yamato for a punishment game, he can't get the guy out of his head and becomes a regular at the gay bar where Yamato works. They start sleeping together regularly, but how will Arata maintain his perfect image, and what are they, anyway? Pretty basic in the closet first love story. The characters didn't grip me, but I do like the art, especially the way the seme is drawn. Trigger warnings: noncon, threats of outing
Tonari no Usotsuki (Suzaka Shina)
Takase is a closeted gay who meets his girlfriend at the same cafe each week alongside a gay man meeting his boyfriend, Yuuichi. After both men are cheated on, Takase suggests that they meet up and bond over being heartbroken without revealing his sexuality to Yuuichi, and they become friends. As the two grow closer, Takase wants to face Yuuichi honestly and confess his love, but his early lies make it even harder for Yuuichi to open his heart again in turn. Trigger warning: cheating.
Give Me a Hug Mr. Frog
Takashi is a popular but closeted gay student who sees a frog mascot hugging kids one day and longs to be held, so he asks if he can get a hug too. The mascot agrees, and he gets a hug every day for a bit, until he realizes that the frog mascot is actually his classmate, Himura. Though nervous at first, Takashi is relieved to find that Himura doesn't think he's weird and they're able to get even closer, but will Takashi's determination to protect his image get in the way? Cute high school love. No trigger warnings
