Nijiko is an out of luck writer who passed out on the street one day from lack of food, and she was picked up by Sogo, a high spec man who had just put his life together after a bad breakup. At first, Nijiko thinks of herself as something like Sogo's pet, but when she says she should probably leave before she relies on him too much, he declares that she could stay if she was his lover and things get physical. I like Nijiko as a non-traditional female lead, even if the story is fairly standard. No trigger warnings.

Saki is sacrificed to the local god, Gaira, but he doesn't want to kill her so the two end up living together. The only hitch is that she has to provide him with energy through sex. The story wasn't very memorable, mostly an excuse for smut. Trigger warnings: human sacrifice, rape, violence.

But when she encourages a seemingly shy coworker, Mikoto, to come out of his shell, he ends up transforming into the office "princess," and she realizes she needs to protect him from the onslaught of female attention as his "knight." Nagi has never been good with men, so she's excited to work with the beautiful model Aran until she learns he's actually a man who does androgynous modeling for both gender styles. When Aran meets her, he announces he wants Nagi to be his partner for a shoot, and though she's unsure, they end up agreeing to a temporary dating relationship in return for Nagi doing the shoot, so she can get used to romantic situations. The plot is nothing special. Nagi comes off as a strong character, so it's a bit annoying how often she gets jerked around. I really like pretty boys like Aran though. Trigger warning: slut shaming.

Mai and Yuta have always just been gaming friends, so when his parents are trying to force him to get married, Mai offers to pretend to be his girlfriend to get them off his back. But when a stupid bet pushes them to get involved sexually, there seems to be no going back. Trigger warning: sexual harassment.

In a world where vampire attacks are a serious problem, Isuzu Osaka works to hunt them down, and he decides to enlist the help of the vampire Baroque, a known vampire killer, to hunt the latest criminal, even if that means breaking Baroque out of jail, himself. Though it causes a lot of trouble, the two are eventually allowed to work as a team, exterminating vampires together. I think they're both interesting characters, though Baroque is drawn quite young, so maybe avoid if you're sensitive to "lolicon" type settings.

Tono is a regular office worker and a bit of a pushover whose boss, Yukisada, takes her home one night to find not only is he her new landlord, but there was a fire in the complex, so he invites her to stay at his place while she looks for someplace new. Turns out Yukisada has been paying close attention to Tono for a long time, and now that they're living together, she can't help but start to notice him, too. It was fine but I lost interest around chapter 30. Trigger warnings: lying/manipulation, power imbalance, abusive/manipulative parent.

Himari is a beta who can't help but be a little jealous of omegas since all her relationships end since she doesn't enjoy sex. Kou is a doctor Himari hates for trying to buy the land out from under her parents' restaurant. At Himari's next phyiscal though, Kou triggers Himari's heat, and the two find out they are alpha and omega andthey somehow got bonded without either of them ever realizing it. A lot of forced and unbelievable things just to make the plot go forward. ️Trigger warning: dubcon(heat)

Tama is an unlucky girl who can see yokai. After getting fired from her most recent job, she runs into the job broker Ginichi and begs him to find her a new job. He primarily works with yokai, but he offers a her a job at his office, saying her presence will bring them in. Trigger warnings: wrongful accusation, stalker.
