Tatsumi seems pretty scummy, but he is very pretty. Trigger warnings: noncon (somnophilia), dubcon.

But when she finally does realize she loves him, things get even more complicated as it turns out she already has a fiance she didn't know about AND love between a human and a shikigami is taboo. Not sure exactly when this came out, but it feels very early 2000s, and the whole story moves very quickly. Trigger warning: manipulation.

With nothing going for her, she offers to go in place of the girl they were going to send and meets Shoma, a wolf god with a muzzle who doesn't speak but writes things for her. He tells her that they'll have a trial marriage, and if they go one month without lying to each other, they will be wed. I like the FL, and the story is fine with decent smut, though I'm not really sure what the main conflict is yet. Trigger warnings: abuse, attempted murder.

Though both are a little unsure, he feels it may be time to open his heart, and she wants to be the one to do it for him. The smut was decent, and there aren't that many good fantasy smut stories, so I'll give it that, but the story didn't really engage me. I didn't feel the character's motivations enough, and Kasfar really wasn't that likeable. Trigger warnings: cheating, attempted rape, murder.

To her surprise, Shoma herself is her teacher on the night of, and the next day, he asks her to marry him! Ayame is under the impression Shoma loved someone else so he was forced to marry her, but really he's been in love with Ayame for a long time. Had some cute moments, but honestly, Shoma is a red flag. I lost interest and stopped reading around chapter 30.

Rin has terrible luck in love, and men keep dumping her even when everything seems great. That's when she gets a new trainee at work, Yamato, who happens to be a total hunk. She can't help but get excited by the sweet things he says and does, but she tries not to let it get to her too much. Meanwhile, he's fully stalking her and has loved her for a long time from afar while waiting for his chance. Trigger warnings: stalking, voyuerism, noncon.
