But when Tsukasa's body begins to change, he worries Yoshiki won't want him if he's not a perfect alpha and begins to pull away. Yoshiki is a terrible person, but I will say, I think that makes this one interesting, although it leaves it with an unsatisfying end. Velk asked Ryuka to be his mate back then, and the two have been sleeping together ever since, but Ryuka hesitates to give Velk his heart, even so. But when it looks like Velk might lose Ryuka after all, will Ryuka have any regrets? Trigger warnings: death of family members.

Production manager Ryota is not looking forward to working with the demonically strict producer Tomoya again, not only because he's hard to work with, but also because they had a physical relationship the last time they worked together only for Tomoya to stop contacting him completely once it was over. Ryota is determined to make a great episode and protect his heart this time, but Tomoya is determined to get some action. Also, despite the title mentioning they work in yaoi anime, that never comes up. They're both really interesting characters with a complex and well-developed relationship. Trigger warning: noncon(sleeping).

Tohgoh is a known as a strict boss in the office, but secretly she's a lesbian who just wants to settle down with a nice girl. One night at a bar, she runs into her cute and sweet colleague Sayama, beloved by all in the office, who turns out to be a total woman-eater who wants Tohgoh as her newest friend with benefits. Tohgoh doesn't want that kind of relationship, but she's weak to Sayama's physical advances, and Sayama is persistent with her efforts to get Tohgoh in bed. Trigger warnings: dubcon, drunk sex.

Naoya Higuchi is a playboy student with an ass fetish who strikes out with a girl at a club party. That's when Rei Hazuki comes over and chats him up, ultimately offering his ass for the night. Naoya tries to say no, but he's surprised to find Rei's ass is just his type, and once they start hitting it, their compatibility is so good, neither one wants to quit it. But Naoya is apparently more of the caring type than he realizes, and his tenderness makes Rei feel awkward as just a sex friend. Or does Naoya deep down want something more? No trigger warnings.

Ch.1 - More than a Play Bite - When Takumi was a child, he was rescued when he fell in the river by a wolf beastman who lives nearby called Professor. Now in university, Takumi finds himself wanting more from their relationship, but Professor still treats him like a child. When Takumi finds out that beastmen play bite their lovers, he becomes determined to overcome the gentle care Professor shows for him and get him to mark him. But Professor is scared to hurt the little boy he watched grow up. This one isn't my favorite, but it's fine if you're into age gap stuff. No trigger warnings. Ch.2 - Catch the Goddess by the Tail - Shunsuke is a leopard beastman in the track club as his university who has a cocky underclassman, Aihachi, who always says the goddess of victory is on his side. Before a big race, Aihachi always calls Shunsuke over to cook for him and they end up sleeping together, and Shunsuke isn't sure why he goes along with it, except that he loves to see Aihachi run. But when Aihachi gets even bigger wins, Shunsuke starts to feel that Aihachi doesn't need him anymore, not realizing that Shunsuke has been his goddess of victory all along. The story is fine, but mostly I really like this one for Shunsuke, who does a great job of being nonchalant but also completely not in touch of his feelings. No trigger warnings. Ch.3-4 - The Sweetest Bite in the World - Mikuni is a snake beastman who was always made fun of until his recent molt, which has made him not only beautiful but unresistible due to his pheromones. With hordes chasing after him every day, the only one Mikuni really wants to notice him is Nachi, a half-lion beastman who protected him when they were children, but Nachi seems unaffected. Mikuni is desperate to get Nachi's attention, even going so far as to bite him with aphrodisiac venom, not knowing that Nachi has only been looking at him all along. Trigger warning: aphrodisiac, attempted rape. Ch.4.5 - More Than a Play Bite Extra - This extra is very cute, and includes all the previous couples going to consult with Dr. Mikami, a snake beastman, and his human assistant. It's fun to see the couples again and get a deeper look into how their relationships progressed, but honestly, Mikami and his assistant are my favorite couple in the entire volume. I love them and wish there was more. No trigger warnings.

Kajima (author, 30) and Hiro (student, 20) are sex friends and they’re both happy that way. That is, until Hiro catches Kajima holding a book by his favorite author and Kajima misses the chance to tell him that it’s really him. They bond over Kajima’s writing, but just as their relationship starts to grow, Hiro’s stalker comes back into the picture, forcing them to live together before they define the relationship. Good story, cute uke, and some well-developed side characters, but the fact they went easy on the abusive stalker because he has a daughter burns me up! Anyway, still very good. Trigger warnings: stalking, mentions of violence.
