Haruki(sub) works as a host but he's in such bad shape even medicine can't help, so he finally uses a matching app to find a dom. The dom, Shirai, has a really fulfilling play with him and offers to become partners, but Haruki books it out of there. Only next thing he knows, Shirai is a new hire at his host club asking Haruki to give him one more chance, and if he's satisfied, they'll be partners. Haruki doesn't want to become addicted to the pleasure a sub can feel, but he can't say no, and their relationship begins. This wasn't quite what I expected from the title, but it was fine and I liked that their relationship had good consent. Trigger warnings: blackmail, attempted rape.

Yata (nickname Hachi) let his younger childhood friend Rin put a collar on him as a game when they were young, but at that moment he awakened as a sub and his body accepted Rin as his pair. He moved away and has spent the rest of his life taking medicine and proving to himself he doesn't need to rely on anybody to survive, but now Rin is coming back into his life as a student of his at university. Masami works at a club where subs can get release, and he looks down on them for wanting to be stepped on and controlled. But when transfer student Yusei warns him that he needs to take medicine to suppress his own sub pheromones, Masami refuses to accept it, even when his body can't help but obey Yusei's commands. The story of a sub with trauma about his nature coming to terms with it. Trigger warning: dubcon.

Rui is a sub who has never had a relationship or even played, so he signs up for a dating app and agrees to meet up with a man who has model-level good looks. Only due to a misplaced "like" on the app, the scary-faced Ritsu shows up instead. The two go through with the play anyway, and Rui is over the moon with how good it feels, while Ritsu feels that Rui is exactly his type, so they begin to date. The only problem is, Ritsu is a much harder dom than Rui can handle, and trying to suppress his instincts starts to become painful for both of them. A surprisingly nuanced and emotional story dealing with two people who love each other but other needs don't match up. I think they fumbled a bit at the ending and it felt forced, but overall, a decent read. Trigger warnings: violence, cheating, drunk sex.

Kikuma(S) is a delinquent, but it turns out the reason why is his unfulfilled sub nature. Kikuma isn't sure he buys that, but when he's forced to room with the dorm head, Takasumi(D), Takasumi puts down some rules he finds he can't help but follow. The beginning of their relationship is questionable, but it's very cute by the end. Trigger warnings: noncon, S&M, strangulation.

Kanata(S) is a gamer who was sexually harassed and bullied at his previous job for his sub gender, until his best online friend, screen name CEO, helped him resign and get a new job. But when he finds out the CEO of his new job is a dom as well, he almost has a panic attack. CEO offers to do a voice call to talk him through it, and Kanata finds out his best friend is a dom. Once they play together there's no going back, but little does Kanata know that CEO is actually his real-life CEO, Miroku. Fairly pure for a dom/subverse, and I liked their honest communication. Trigger warnings: sexual harassment, noncon.

Fushimi is a teacher and an S-ranked dom who is still frustrated despite his hardcore plays recently. That's when he meets the new school nurse, Hoshina, who suggests he should try taking a sub role instead, infuriating Fushimi. But when he overhears Hoshina give a command to another sub, Fushimi finds his body instantly reacts. It turns out that Hoshina is a SSS-ranked dom whose commands work on anyone, and Fushimi is a rare mix of dom and sub who exhibits both traits. Hoshina finds this fascinating and keeps poking his nose into Fushimi's life, to Fushimi's annoyance, but when Hoshina backs off, Fushimi feels even worse and he doesn't know why. I think these two have interesting interactions, even if the story is a bit forced. A tax inspector with a fetish and a seedy customer who notices it and pushes him into a relationship. ️Trigger warning: noncon, blackmail.

Sumio(sub) is a doctor recently returned to his hometown, and he's in need of a sub who will "dominate him to his very bones." While outside a sub club, he runs into his high school kouhai and yakuza boss Itsumi(dom), who offers to be his new dom. Sumio insists that he doesn't want to be spoiled, kissed, or caressed at all, but Itsumi notices that what he says and how his body react don't seem to line up. A really interesting story about a doctor who can't accept his own desires, though it didn't have the strongest ending. I still really liked the characters though. Kurashina has a complex about being a dom and has an inferiority complex when faced with the impressive student council president, Isshiki. But when he finds out Isshiki is actually a sub, Kurashina quickly offers to help him suppress his symptoms, and the two begin engaging in plays. But as both start to feel more for the other, they feel restricted by their relationship as partners for play only. No trigger warnings

Miki is a sub who had a collar forcibly put on him in high school, and though he always hated it, he's been with that dom ever since, though he dislikes doms in general. But while working as a babysitter, he ends up at the dom Moriya's house and finds out that this dom is his favorite author and so gentle with him, he keeps wanting to come back for more. ️Trigger warnings: cheating, abuse.
