Chiaki is a poor student who's always being told off by his teacher, Mr. Chiba, to do his work. But one day while going back to the classroom after school to retrieve his phone, Chiaki sees Mr. Chiba going at it with another male teacher. Chiaki tries to blackmail Mr. Chiba only for it to backfire on him and get "paid off" with a blowjob. After that, Chiaki can't stay away from Mr. Chiba, but Mr. Chiba rejects the idea of relationships and love. I don't love the setup, but it's not the worst I've seen, and it's interesting. Kaname Ando is a delinquent who looks up to tough guys from movies who fight to protect others. But his real life consists less of epic fights and more of arguing with the class president, Katagiri, every day. But when Ando gets attacked and a guy jumps in to save him, he immediately asks the guy for his name, sure he's found the ideal man he wants to fight beside from now on. His savior says his name is Soma, and all is well, until Ando realizes that Soma and Katagiri are one and the same. I like these two dumb boys, and it's a fun little mistaken identity romance. No trigger warnings.

In a world where basilisks and cockatrices secretly live among humans, an innocent cockatrice named Sora is sent to a school full of basilisks on a secret mission to get close to the student council president, Rin, but he immediately forgets his mission and falls in love with Rin's delinquent brother, Kai, instead. It was a bit chaotic and wacky, but I liked what I read of it. Still, I only read through chapter 5 because it felt like a good stopping point. Trigger warnings: violence, abduction.

Subaru is a delinquent who's already having a bad day when he sees older salaryman Yoshio getting hassled for money and impulsively steps in. But when Yoshio calls him a good boy for helping out, Subaru abruptly falls head over heels, and now he's determined to make a relationship happen with Yoshio. Honestly not my favorite couple as it feels borderline abusive, but I do like seeing older men in yaoi. Trigger warning: domestic violence(comical)
