Tomohisa is so cute, it makes it fun to read for his sake, and it’s nice to get to see so much of their relationship over time. Trigger warnings: cheating, statutory rape, drunk sex.

Kishi gets plastered after losing his best friend to marriage only to wake up to the cute young bartender, Nao taking care of him. Nao makes Kishi realize he was actually in love with his friend and offers "hug therapy," to make him feel better. But when this becomes a regular thing between them, Kishi starts to wonder if his "always alone" lifestyle is really enough. Cute characters, good progression, and nice character growth for an all around fun read. No trigger warnings.

Chikage is the son of a yakuza boss who gets spoiled in everything, except the one thing he really wants—the second-in-command Aizawa's love! Since he assumes Aizawa is straight, he figures the only way for them to stay together is for him to take over the clan, but his father and Aizawa both are having none of it. So when Aizawa finally offers Chikage a bet that he has one month to seduce Aizawa and if he succeeds Aizawa will help him but if he fails, Chikage will give it up forever, Chikage jumps at the chance thinking it may be his only opportunity to touch the person he loves. But even though Aizawa seems to go along, he won't go all away due to reasons of his own that he absolutely doesn't want Chikage to know. Chikage is one of the prettiest ukes you'll see and he's also an innocent sweetheart, while Aizawa is pretty much your basic tough, handsome seme. So it's an okay story with some great eye candy. (Ch.1-2) Soga has his hands full tutoring a class of remedial students, especially since pretty boy Keita confesses to him every day. But when he gets fed up and takes it out on Keita, he realizes just how serious Keita was being. Trigger warnings: statutory rape, molestation, sexual harassment. (Ch.3-4) Four years ago, teacher Agi broke up with Kaiya, student at his cram school, at graduation, after which Kaiya ran away from home and disappeared from his life. Now Kaiya is back just as suddenly asking for a place to stay, and Agi can't help but want to be close to him, even though he knows it's for the best they stay broken up. No real trigger warnings, except for Kaiya's insane jealousy towards a baby.

Yuu and Kaede are childhood friends, and Kaede has been protecting the sexy Yuu from perverts since they were children. But Yuu insists that Kaede leaves himself open way too often and is in fact flirting with him, so the two start their battle of "no perverts" vs. "no flirting!" Trigger warning: dubcon.

Hajime is a romantic gay guy who just wants to have the perfect first time, so he books a callboy. The one who comes is Ryota, who starts out strong before doing things his own way and totally ruining Hajime's ideal first time. To make matters worse, they meet at school the next day where it turns out they're classmates, and when Hajime tries to book someone else for a do-over, the agency accidentally sends Ryota again! But it goes way better this time, and when Ryota offers Hajime a special rate of just ¥500 (about $4), Hajime jumps at it and the two end up practically becoming fuck buddies. But Ryota starts to want more from this relationship and sucks at expressing it. Trigger warning: sex work.

Ch.1-1.5 - Neko no Yomeiri - Sachs is a tigerman living on a mountain who happens across a cat in a trap that looks like a good meal. The cat introduces himself as Wilhelm and begs not to be eaten, as he is a sacrifice for the god living in the castle. Since Sachs has recently taken up living in the abandoned castle, he decides to impersonate the god and says Wilhelm is his sacrifice, intending to fatten him up and eat him. But he almost immediately gets too attached to go through with it. I think they're very cute, especially in their bonus chapter. No sex. Trigger warning: lying/manipulation Ch.2 - Intoxication Honey - Claudio is an introverted cat nobleman who hates dogs until he has a chance meeting with dog beastman Kainz one night on a balcony and gets swept off his feet. But when he meets Kainz again at a tea party the next day, he finds that Kainz is actually just a flirt who acts like this with everyone, so he starts pushing Kainz away. But Kainz won't give up so easily! No trigger warnings. Ch.3 - Repaying the Kindness of a Cat - Dieter is a cat person vagabond who gets mistaken as a thief and ends up crashing at the house of the cobbler Edgar. Although Dieter is easily misunderstood and got into trouble where he lived before, Edgar's encouragement helps him turn over a new leaf. But what will happen when police come looking for Dieter as a jewel thief after Edgar already found a gem in Dieter's things? No trigger warnings.

Hideo and Tomohisa have been dating for several years now, and after doing long-distance while Tomohisa was in medical school, they're finally living together and life seems perfect. But when Hideo's family becomes increasingly pushy about him getting married, he comes out to them suddenly then gets told he's only pitying Tomohisa and begins to doubt his feelings. While they're still dealing with this, Tomohisa is offered a position in Germany, further pulling the two apart, despite their desires to be together. Honestly, this one is pretty good, but I had a hard time wrapping my head around the central conflict they were having. Also the last chapter, 8.1, is a little abrupt and upsetting for some. Trigger warning: homophobia.

This land is protected by the batsu, gods who radiate heat and live short lives with a single human family acting as their caretakers. Theo is next in line to act as caretaker to the batsu Rei, the first to be born from a human and a batsu. Rei seems indifferent to Theo at first, but the two grow closer and even end up sleeping together. But as Rei's health begins to decline, Theo becomes desperate to help him feel better before realizing that their relationship might be hurting Rei. Not the best conclusion, but an interesting world and cute characters. Trigger warning: child abuse.
