Mizuki has a bad breakup and the handsome Takuma finds her crying in the rain. He takes her home, comforts her, and they sleep together, after which they end up becoming friends with benefits. Mizuki finally realizes she wants more at the same time she figures out Takuma is in love with someone he can't have, so his heart seems truly out of reach. Takuma is dang smooth. Fun enough read with good consent. Trigger warnings: cheating (mentioned), incest themes (stepparent attraction).

That is, until Hiro catches Kajima holding a book by his favorite author and Kajima misses the chance to tell him that it’s really him. They bond over Kajima’s writing, but just as their relationship starts to grow, Hiro’s stalker comes back into the picture, forcing them to live together before they define the relationship. Good story, cute uke, and some well-developed side characters, but the fact they went easy on the abusive stalker because he has a daughter burns me up! Anyway, still very good. Everything is going swimmingly with him and Chika, his first every girlfriend, but when things start to get hot and heavy, how will Hisanori react to the revelation that she is actually a he? The fact that everything goes as well as it does for Chika feels very much like wish fulfillment, but hey, that's fun sometimes too. It doesn't exactly stand out to me, but it's a fun, quick read. No trigger warnings.

Though Chiharu leaves that guy there, later when he's about to get attacked by a wild boar the white-haired stranger appears again and reveals he's the dragon god from hte local legend and Chiharu's grandma agreed to make Chiharu his bride! Shinonome Nagi is a college student who secretly loves reading erotic novels, and one day he meets his favorite erotic novelist, Shidou Tatsuo! When Shindou teases him saying Nagi is a kid who would come from a kiss, Nagi refuses, so Shidou ends up making good on the offer. After that, Shidou suggests Nagi keep coming around to help give him inspiration for his newest novel, and Nagi agrees. Trigger warnings: dubcon, train groper, somnophilia.

Tsukushi has finally had enough of his live in boyfriend Toui and he leaves, but cutting ties is harder than he thought. As he reminisces about what went wrong in their relationship, he can’t seem to put Toui behind him, and Toui isn’t ready to give up at all. The depiction of the frustration and heartache of a breakup was really well done and got me right in the heart, and it has a fluffy and sweet ending. Easily a new favorite. Trigger warnings: drunk sex.

One day novelist Ikusabe comes home to find a wolf beastman in his home. Though the werewolf, Dietrich, says he's keeping Ikusabe captive, Ikusabe works from home and doesn't want to go anywhere, so he doesn't see it as changing his life much, although he does help relieve Dietrich's sexual frustration to calm his transformations. But as the two grow closer, Dietrich feels increasingly afraid of his beast side and fears he can't stay. Ikusabe is so casual about everything, it makes him a very interesting character. Trigger warning: dubcon, threat of confinement.

Ch.1-3 - Nicholas is a young noble who has always been taken care of by his butler, Eim. But when Eim crosses the line then tries to run away, Nicholas has to figure out what he feels in time to chase after Eim. Then, when Eim is happily pursuing his new dream as a playwright, Nicholas is left trying to figure out what place he still has in Eim's life. This couple was fine but didn't particularly grab me. Trigger warning: noncon Ch.4 - Liin is an up and coming knight in training, but when he hears rumors that his mentor, Professor Klein, gives students "punishments" of a sexual nature, he takes it upon himself to warn Klein to knock it off, causing him to become Klein's next victim. Trigger warning: rape. Ch.5 - Mitsuki is a student at a school where Kagashima is planting a garden (I think. Honestly, I had a bit of a hard time parsing this one,) and he goes to watch Kagashima every day while thinking about how he wishes that he were one of the flowers that Kagashima loves so ardently and possessively. So when he finally sees Kagashima kiss another man, Mitsuki decides to throw everything away to get one moment with Kagashima, but that's what Kagashima wanted all along. Or something. No trigger warnings.
