Sakuma is a man's man, even though he's an omega, and he's known for beating up any alphas that act up, even when he's in heat. Meanwhile, his childhood friend Renji is a total sadist pervert, despite being the student council president, who mocks Sakuma for his old man pheromones. But when Renji catches Sakuma in heat using his jacket to jerk off, it pushes Renji over the edge and their relationship gets physical. Renji wants to get serious, but Sakuma fears that giving in to Renji will make Renji lose respect for him and lose his interest. Sakuma is a non-typical omega/uke, and Renji is a very interesting seme, and I like the way their relationship plays out. Trigger warnings: threat of rape, dubcon, aphrodisiac.

Middle-aged teacher Hashida(omega) is taking care of his drunken coworker Hayashi(alpha) when his pheromones cause Hashida to go into heat and Hayashi ends up pairing with him. The next day, however, Hayashi has no memory of what happened, and Hashida thinks it's for the best since he's too old and plain to be Hayashi's partner and decides to hide their pairing. However, the attraction caused by a pairing is greater than Hashida anticipated, and it's impossible to keep their relationship platonic now. I wish Hashida was a stronger character or exhibited more growth. Trigger warnings: dubcon, lying.

Genjirou Momoyama (omega) is a manly omega with severe heat symptoms that can't be suppressed by medicine, so each heat he checks himself into the clinic. This time, he runs into an alpha who makes him puke the moment their eyes meet. Turns out this alpha is Touji Sakurada, the president of a pharmaceutical company who begs Genjirou to help him test new medicines as his guinea pig. Genjirou agrees, but as he and Touji get closer together, Touji's control is tested for the first time in his life, and Genjirou is told he's not enough for Touji.

When alpha Megumi's friends get beaten up by a pipe-wielding delinquent, he steps up to avenge them, only to find that the delinquent in question is Tsugumi, an alpha-hating omega who deals with his heats through sheer willpower instead of medicine, and actually came to the fight in question in heat. Megumi gets him out of there that day, but Tsugumi keeps chasing him down demanding a fight until finally, they're trapped in a storeroom together and Tsugumi goes into heat, pushing Megumi past his reason. After that, Tsugumi introduces Megumi to his family as his boyfriend to avoid questions about it being rape, and soon Megumi finds himself nicely integrated into the family, and falling for the idiot Tsugumi on top of that. These two are really fun to watch and a cute couple with good development over time. Trigger warning: rape, attempted rape, discrimination.

Tatsumi is a young omega mother who was abandoned with a load of debt by his fated pair, but when the alpha Ryuuga comes to collect, he decides Tatsumi takes his fancy and brings him and Tatsumi's child Riku to his own house. At first, Tatsumi is desperate to get out of there and pay back the debt, but as he sees Ryuuga's kindness and gentleness with him and Riku, he wants to stay, but fears the pull of his fated pair. Also includes a sequel about their married life a few years later. It's a cute story, but Riku's very realistic and funny "childisms" are what really make this one stand out to me. Akira(omega) is kidnapped and sold for his family's extraordinary reproductive abilities to Reiji(alpha), a second son who needs to bear the family heir so he can be free to pursue photography. But after a rough life on the streets, Akira finds remarkable comfort and safety living with Reiji that he doesn't want to give up, while Reiji wants to keep his distance but can't help but be amazed by Akira's openness and kindness. Honestly, it's all very cliche and it could have easily stopped at episode 10, but it's fine for what it is. Trigger warnings: sex work, sex trafficking, attempted rape.

Yokomichi is an omega who always gets dumped for wanting to top, but this time he's found his perfect man, the company president Karasuma! Yokomichi uses Karasuma's limited understanding of the world as an excuse to spend time teaching him, but even once they start dating, things like an old friend and Arabian oil prince and their difference in statuses keep getting in their way. An interesting read with some nonstandard characters and some wacky nonsense going on. I was honestly more interested in the short beta x alpha romance between their friends, but then it just sorta ended. Trigger warnings: kidnapping, S&M, bondage.

Kosuke and Haruka are a happily married alpha/omega couple with two young kids, Marin and Yosuke, and this shows some of their life. Kosuke runs a construction company, while Haruka works from home, and both seem to have some trauma from their past but are trying to make a better upbringing for their kids. So far light on background details and plot, but it has enough to be interesting. Trigger warning: sexual harassment.

Ichiya is just an ordinary alpha living an ordinary life until he meets Yuu, a new student at their all-alpha school who enrolled because of their award-winning swim team, but when Yuu goes into heat and jumps on Ichiya, Ichiya finds out he's an omega. Now Ichiya feels very protective of Yuu, while Yuu wants him to leave him alone so he can fulfill his dream of becoming an Olympic gold medalist. But there are more threats out there than Yuu realizes, and he starts to realize that leaning on Ichiya mights not be so bad after all. I liked the setup, but I felt like it didn't stick the landing. The last chapter was a huge letdown for me. Trigger warnings: discrimination, gang rape, noncon, blackmail.

Naoto is an omega who was raped in high school and gave birth to a beautiful young daugther that he's struggling to raise alone. He finally lands a job as a school janitor, but it turns out the school belongs to the alpha Hazuki who Koga had met the day before and who is convinced that Koga is his fated pair. Hazuki is determined to show Koga that he can love and protect him as his pair, while Koga is frightened to let anyone close to him again and to trust an alpha. This one is fine, but I felt like the first volume was a good enough self-contained story, so I never finished reading it. Trigger warnings: rape, attempted rape, discrimination.
