Spoiler alert: Hibari does cry. Hibari and Sumi have been living together since the death of Hibari’s brother which resulted in Sumi taking over as Hibari’s guardian. But Hibari’s feelings are obvious to Sumi, and even though he worries that accepting them would be selfish, he’s not sure if he can help it. Trigger warnings: motorcycle accident.

Tsuho is a gay congressman pining after his childhood friend and secretary until one day he goes to an S&M club and meets Kyo, a paid Dom who loves dancing and they really hit it off. But just when they’re ready to take it to the next level, scandal rocks Tsuho’s life and their relationship. It’s a good story with some, though not a ton, of S&M, but I felt like the two unrequited loves they were getting over needed more time for the audience to care about them. Trigger warnings: S&M, forced outing.

Ch.1-3 - Kawasaki is overworked at the office, so on a whim, he books a maid escort service only to find it's a man who arrives. But after giving Nao a shot, he's hooked and starts to want even more. Trigger warning: sex work. Ch.4-6 - Italian chef Atsushi is shocked when his young temp worker, Eita, confesses to him, and though he tries to reject him, Eita is just too persistent! But even though Atsushi starts to return Eita's feelings, how can he accept Eita's love if it risks ruining his future? I like this second couple a lot, and I like that Atsushi's worries are legitimate and not your typical "but he could be normal and have a family!" stuff you often see in mangas. No trigger warnings.

Ono is a dentist being haunted by a ghost (Masaki). But this sweet and childlike ghost just wants to be with his beloved sensei and help him overcome his recent loss. I’ll be honest, this is an amazing and beautiful story, but the “twist” is hard to swallow. I don’t blame any of the characters, but…it’s all very uncomfortable. Still, I really do think it’s worth the read because the characters and emotions are so well done and Masaki is such a pure sweetheart. Trigger warnings: I don’t know what to say?? Read at your own risk!

Hisanori is an erotic author with no experience, so imagine his surprise when his fantasy about a woman on the bus asking him out comes to life! Everything is going swimmingly with him and Chika, his first every girlfriend, but when things start to get hot and heavy, how will Hisanori react to the revelation that she is actually a he? The fact that everything goes as well as it does for Chika feels very much like wish fulfillment, but hey, that's fun sometimes too. It doesn't exactly stand out to me, but it's a fun, quick read. No trigger warnings.

Ch.1-3, 7 - Kouhei is a serious and work-obsessed businessman, and his coworkers are sick of it, so they play a prank by taking him to an S&M club having him get tied up. But when the bartender, Hijiri, ties him up, Kouhei feels something ignite inside him, and soon sex with Hijiri is his new obsession, no matter how much he wants it to stop. But as Kouhei grapples with guilt and shame over paying for kinky sex, Hijiri wants something else out of this relationship, entirely. Interesting dynamic, from their personalities to the way their kinks play into it. Trigger warnings: bullying, S&M, bondage, sex work. Ch.4-6 - Yuji is known for his cool and expressionless persona as an actor, but really he's just very shy, and when he gets his photos taken by an older guy who's exactly his type, he can barely keep it together. For the first time, he wants to pursue love instead of letting it go. The uke is really cute although I don't care for the seme. No trigger warnings.

Haruhi has always compared himself to his bright, twin brother Katsuki, leaving him with poor self-esteem, so in university he starts frequenting the gay district and engaging in risky sex under his brother's name out of a desire to defile them both. But when a new friend and businessman, Masahiro, finds Haruhi roughed up after a bad fling, he gently patches him up and gives him a place to stay. Masahiro's kindness makes Haruhi question what he's been doing and begin to heal from his years of self-hatred. Trigger warnings: sex work, violent sex.

Ch.1-5, 7 - Maki is always getting picked on by section chief Sakaki, until one day while out drinking Sakai walks in on Maki peeing and suddenly pushes him down and assaults him. Maki is betrayed that the superior he respected could do such a thing, but he also can't get it out of his head. So, obviously this relationship starts with sexual assault which they don't take that seriously, but the later stuff is very cute, and I love Sakaki's evil face. Trigger warnings: sexual harassment, noncon. Ch.6-9 - Office worker Tanaka has fallen for the waitress at the cafe he frequents, Kanade, so when he confesses and she accepts him, he can't believe his luck. Only on their first date when things get down and dirty, Tanaka discovers that Kanade is actually a man. Still, love knows no gender, right? Tanaka is cute and the relationship is fun if you don't think about the fact that Kanade is a high schooler. Trigger warnings: dubcon, statutory rape.

Natsuki has always beein in love with his former tutor, Ryogo, but he got married to Natsuki's older sister Yuhiko instead. Only after giving birth to twins, Yuhiko disappeared telling Ryogo to go to Natsuki if he needed any help. Now Natsuki has been pulled in and taken over the mom life, but it's hard when Ryogo not only doesn't help, but doesn't seem to care. Trigger warnings: noncon/attempted rape.

Hikaru feels like his little brother Hijiri is better than him at everything, so he likes to seduce his brother's girlfriends to feel like he has something of his own. So when Hijiri starts hanging out with middle schooler Sachio, Hikaru assumes they're dating and tries to get in on this only to be embarrassed by Sachio's earnestness and purity. After that, he's approached by Sachio's older brother, Tomura, who he can tell is in love with him, and they start hanging out, but Hikaru feels like he's taking advantage of Tomura's feelings. I didn't love this one, and honestly the main couple didn't do it for me. Sachio and Hijiri were very cute when they finally got together in the last episode, though I still feel a little awkward about that age gap. Trigger warnings: underage love interest.
