Actor has trouble showing emotion off camera

Haruki got into acting because of his idol Yuito, so when he gets a chance to work with Yuito in a minor role in a drama, he jumps at the chance. But after learning Yuito has an allergy to sexually charged behavior from women, Yuito impulsively drags Haruki into being his pretend lover to desensitize him (despite the fact he's already gay and has no trouble with men). Haruki is a little thrown off, but he wants to do anything he can to help his idol, and it feels great to get closer to him, but what will he do when his feelings go beyond "pretend lovers." Honestly, not an original plot or standout characters, but it was fine for what it is. No trigger warnings.

Leo is an alpha and a second-generation actor who's working his butt off to be taken seriously, which is why it drives him crazy to see Eito, another alpha second-generation actor, who always seems to be messing around. But when the two get cast as leads in an alpha x omega romance movie, Leo is shocked by Eito's talent. Then, when they're made to spend the night together to increase their chemistry on set, Eito reveals he's really an omega and the two begin a physical relationship that can't seem to be stopped. I like both the main couple and their friends and I think this one has really well done characters, which can be hard in so few chapters. Trigger warning: forced outing.

Tsukasa Hirayama is a voice actor who's just been offered a live role working with his inspiration, the actor Kentaro Fujisawa. To get to know each other, the two start video calling, and it's going well until Kentaro sees that Tsukasa has a boner and gets Tsukasa to jerk off in front of the camera for him. After that, once filming starts, neither knows how to treat the other, leading to an emotional roller coaster. Something about the pacing of this one felt really off, but it was still an enjoyable story. Trigger warning: drunk intimacy

Narumi Ebihara is desperate for a job after his company goes under, so he applies for a sketchy opening that turns out to be a dream come true! He gets a place to live and a salary all for managing actor Leo Uchiumi. But on the first day, Uchiumi comes home late to find Ebihara in his house and says he won't listen to Ebihara unless Ebihara blows him. Ebihara does it, regrets it, then demands Uchiumi uphold his end of the bargain and listen, so the two start working together, after which Ebihara realises Uchiumi isn't the flippant player he looks to be. After the initial interaction, these two are actually very cute. Trigger warning: noncon(coercion).

A selection of short stories, almost all shounen ai (Ch.2 depicts a sex scene), about lovers with a personality gap. Ch.1 - Only I Know Chief Iwatsugi! - Shimizu is always getting scolded by his demon boss Iwatsuji at work, but he doesn't mind because secretly he and his boss are dating, and at home Iwatsuji is a total cutie. No trigger warnings. Ch.2 - Adorable Liar - High schooler Tanoi has a crush on his straight-laced classmate Mizuno, so he tells his anonymous friend that he's going to confess on the last day of school. He does and gets shot down hard, so he agrees to go sleep with his anonymous friend to get over it only to find out the friend and Mizuno are actually the same. No trigger warnings. Ch.3 - Non-stop Zaizen-kun - Poor student Hida finds an expensive wallet in his shoe box that the other students assume he stole from rich classmate Zaizen. But it turns out that Zaizen is in love with Hida and this was his weird way of giving him a matching wallet. No trigger warnings. Ch.4 - The Right Way to Shorten Our Distance - Actor Kashiwara doesn't understand why his popular and affable manager, Tsubaki, is so kind to everyone but so distant with him! But when he tries to shorten the distance, he learns that Tsubaki is a way bigger fan than he thought. No trigger warnings. Ch.5, 11- Akaoni-kun's Rice Ball - Katori is a salaryman who ends up with no choice but to buy lunch from a nearby restaurant with a terrifying chef, Akaoni. But after he tries the food he's hooked, and when he comes back, he finds out that Akaoni is anything but scary underneath it all. No trigger warnings. Ch.6 - It's Your Fault for Being so Suggestive! - Chitose noticed that his childhood friend Nao has a crush on him recently, so he's been teasing him with it while waiting for the right moment to confess. But Nao has enough of it and turns the tables on him. No trigger warnings. Ch.7 - About a Guy Called "Matsubara" - Suzuki is a serious loner-type student, and popular student Matsubara always seems to be bothering him about something. But really the two are dating, and Matsubara is a little bit of a yandere. Trigger warning: obsessive behavior. Ch.8 - Tell Me About Your Fingers - Beauty school stuent Souta has a huge hand fetish, and right now he's into the cool loner Kodomori's hands. But when Kodomori finds out about it and calls him creepy, Souta is mortified, only to find Kodomori using it to sadistically tease him later. No trigger warnings. Ch.9 - My Roommate's an Android? - Ayukawa heard that his dormmate Hadano never changes expressions, so people call him an android, but Ayukawa is determined to get closer. But when he finds out about Hadano's dog who passed, he finally gets to see the emotionless Hadano let his guard down and act cute. No trigger warnings. Ch.10 - Do You Understand What You're Doing Senpai? - Ritsu and Fujieda are childhood friends who started dating before going to separate colleges. This episode shows them the morning after as the airheaded Fujieda becomes reliable and cool in the face of Ritsu's tears at the thought of being lonely without him. No trigger warnings.

Jun is an up and coming young actor who is secretly a sub. He's gotten the chance of a lifetime to work with his favorite actor, Ryunosuke Shiba, also known as the Nation's Dom, and even though he struggles a bit, Mr. Shiba is surprisingly nice and even flirty with him. When Mr. Shiba accidentally reveals Jun's secret, he gets even more interested, and manages to get Jun to live with him during their next project together. But even though their relationship seems to be getting better and better, but Jun worries about rumors that Mr. Shiba seduces all his coworkers, only to drop them after. Trigger warnings: dubcon, attempted outing.

Yoh was working at an abusive company and about to end his life when he was invited to a play by one of the actors, Yuki, and Yuki's performance moved him so much he decided to stan Yuki and make him his god and his reason for living. Yoh's whole life has turned around, and now he just wants to thank Yuki for everything, but he gets overwhelmed when he sees him in person, so during a special event for fans, he blurts out something totally inappropriate, leading to the actor agreeing to sleep with him. Yoh is horrified that he could put his hands on his god, but Yuki had a good time and tracks Yoh down, becoming a freeloader at his place. I think a lot of people disliked this because the characters very deliberately choose not to grow, which is not what you usually expect, but in a way that made it interesting. Yuki is a bad person, but not a badly written character, and Yoh has real issues that many can relate too. It's not my favorite, but not a bad read. Trigger warnings: attempted suicide, suicidal ideation, somnophilia, enabling.

First in the Kuroneko Kareshi series. Shingo is a black werecat who uses his cat nature as an excuse for everything and sleeps around at night while working in set construction during the day. That is, until he catches the eye of Kakami Keiichi, the number one actor in Japan and wereleopard, who starts chatting Shingo up and eventually gets him super drunk and basically rapes him. After that, Keiichi doesn't want to let go, so Shingo gives in and allows a physical relationship between them. But when it comes to anything more, Shingo is a stray cat, and he's always ready to run away. I actually love this series and these characters, but I'll be the first to say that the way their relationship starts is the absolute worst and I hate Keiichi for it. They try to retcon it later when they show his POV that Shingo was begging for it (in a different volume), but it's still gross. Still, I think that the series has some beautiful art and really good character development for Shingo, if not Keiichi. Trigger warnings: rape(drunk), manipulation.

Third in the Kuroneko series. Shingo and Keiichi are now an established couple, and while they're being lovey-dovey, Keiichi suggests they move in together, with Shingo giving it a hard pass. Keiichi insists, and Shingo has to work through all his hangups about living together, and fast, because Keiichi already has an apartment for them. A fairly quick, sweet interlude for the couple with no major conflicts. Trigger warning: manipulation.
