Higaki Tatsumi is sitting on the beach when he's approached by stranger Kimijima Kazushi. The two hit it off and end up drinking at the inn, only for Tatsumi to drunkenly reveal that his voice can manipulate others, making it difficult for him to get close to others. What follows is a very well-crafted journey through the pasts of Tatsumi and Kazushi as the author weaves the story of how the two wound up in that spot that day. Very well done story.
