I was expecting a big announcement towards the end about the scandal, but I guess the subtle way is also pretty nice. I like how different it was. I like how it focused more on the change of time and event rather than this painful conflict. But the main character is very unsatisfactory. The fact that they don’t care about the victims in the beginning is crazy. That’s such a horrible trauma, yet he doesn’t care. Very unempathetic. I got so angry towards the middle. And the fact that he thinks others are bad, he himself exploits the ML. He himself treats him like a garbage. I wish the author also showed us him feeling directly regretful and apologizing about his behaviors. And of course the beginning rape. That was so unannounced, I really put the ML in a bad person spotlight. He has his good qualities, but that was something he should directly take responsibility and apologize for. Nonetheless, I love the ending and the adorable interactions. I have mixed feelings about this story. I guess read if you want to, but don’t if you are sensitive to pedophilia and rape. I am happy we don’t get to see much of that park guy in the end. A disgusting hag. It was so uncomfortable seeing him everytime. I didn’t regret reading this though, it wasn’t a waste. But I still have mixed feelings.
