mc was naive and annoying however she grows and matures. While it may be annoying in the beginning I think inorder to fully feel empathy for the charecters you have to see them at their lowest to understand their ending together.

Mc works on a vr game but as she goes to test something she gets stuck as a npc and can't get out. In order for her to get out she has to complete the game but no one has ever done it before because of the many different ways the game can go.

MaoMaos father is an apothecary and one day as she's out collecting herbs she gets kidnapped and sold to the inner palace. Because of her extensive knowledge on poisons she becomes a food tester for one of the concubines (Lady gyokuyo)
