I liked the beginning but it didn't really keep my attention and the ending was kind of unsatisfying. Might try a reread in the future where I don't have to wait for chapters by I don't know

I dnf'd at chapter 11.i can pretty much guess that they knew each other from a young age and as far as I can tell the alpha has been obsessed for his whole life with some sprinkled in trauma. Still, there's absolutely nothing endearing here, he's just an a*hole and I almost wish the MC would call him on his BS gaslighting and sabotage but that's clearly not going to happen so I'm dropping for my sanity. There's literally nothing to make the love interest redeemable and nothing that'll convince me that the MC would actually fall in love with that piece of work.

I love that these two both have their own hurdles to overcome and that they each admire one another the very same. Fantastic dynamic!
