Pretenses. Lots of angst but it hurts so good. Thought provoking. Character growth. Isekai/time travel, childhood friends, possessive top, top pursues, this all escalates real quick. Both MC and ML need to take a fucking chill pill. They eventually both grow as people though. Progress is like: "wow, ML is fucked up" --> ".. You know, MC isn't so great either" --> "I guess this could be cute now" --> "NEVER MIND" --> "wait I see character growth" --> "They're both good enough people now that they can see and grow from who they were in the past. I can ship this again. Even I'm shocked."
