Pretty cute, and I'm a sucker for this trope. Got derailed towards the end for a few chapters with what felt like fluff filler chapters, but came together with a good close and every question that I had answered. It tripped me up for awhile since Xue Yu and Jiang Sijun look pretty similar. Xue Yu is the ex, Jiang Sijun is the guy who planned Yuan Mu's death with Hu Peng (his right-hand man, and a psycho) in order to be with Xue Yu (who is culpable to a degree, because he's the one who called Yuan Mu away, with the pretense of making up, in order to give Jiang Sijun an opening to kill him). It seems like details/steps are glossed over in story progression in odd spots, and some details feel expanded on out of place; feels like it potentially had a producer who's fairly new. It's a bit disorganized tbh. Still enjoyed it. Summary: "Sangyi, an intern at the biggest entertainment company, struggles every day from his boss who's busy stealing his credit, and his jealous teammates. One day, he stumbles upon Insoo performing on the street and is immediately mesmerized by his voice. Sangyi finds Insoo's voice oddly familiar, but he can't seem to remember their bizarre first encounter. Will Sangyi ever find out where he met Insoo for the first time?" Absolutely terrible official translation (at least for S1); the tone is too childish. That being said, the actual comic itself is often just contrived and awkward, which doesn't help. It's cheesy way too frequently for it to be fun, and some parts of the main story feel like small side stories clumped together rather than one cohesive story. The end was intended to be dramatic and could have been good if it had more setup. A couple getting together in the early chapters never bodes well for the story as a whole. The series is pretty fluffy in general until around 26. End of 26 and beginning of 27 is non-con conflict between MC and the director that's obsessed with him. The art improves dramatically in season 2 (starting episode 31). The increase in art, translation and slightly less cringe barely convinced me to not drop it (had the intention to drop it after season 1). It was still a boring read, but at least the other horrible qualities were reduced enough that I figured I should just finish it. Official was on Inkr (expired), officials are here.
