For some reason the official translation was dropped at 83 (literally 5 chapters away from the end of the main story + side stories). Honestly heart wrenching many times, but has a happy ending. Honestly the summary feels misleading in tone with how things progress (especially since his dad never thought he was a good-for-nothing even slightly), but key points are the same: omegaverse, reincarnation, historical drama about a man losing his unprofessed love only become closer than he could have imagined when he realizes he never lost him at all. Tried to fix it a bit with the above summary. The English officials are much less censored (obviously nothing explicit, but it goes beyond typical Chinese censorship and shows kissing/there's less guessing what Intimate things happened). It's called a monster lord in the comic, but it means a demon lord. Licensed on lots of places including Inkr, "My Covenant with the Monster Lord." Free on Inkr with membership, but a lot is lost in their translation compared to the fan translation here. It's interesting to have read most of this one first and compare my notes I have on this one to help my understanding of the other and see the differences between the terms they've translated (or chosen not to translate and keep as names). A lot of overused tropes and cliche fixes, but still enjoyed it. Some areas oddly skipped through, taking only a couple panels when they could have been full chapters, but not parts that were extremely annoying to have skipped like in some stories. The art looks really similar to 100 Ways to Save a Soul Splitter. 37 feels like the end and 38 like a quick side story. Manga updates says there's 40 chapters but it's marked complete on the official English site @38. Licensed on Lalatoon and Toomics, "Can't Defy Fate." Officials from 22 onwards. First 3 officials are free, but the site is by subscription so any others aren't just buyable on their own. The translations here are understandable, but all of the cultural context is lost so it's confusing (the officials fix this). The end of chapter 6 is cut off in the officials.
