The art is kinda wonky.

So far, the characters and their relationship are interesting and you can see them warming up to each other. Shion has been taken away from edo to learn how to grow more like his namesake. It's sweet how the ml nishi keeps admiring shion's beauty no matter how his appearance changes and he's doing his best to appease him.

I'm reminded of bongchon bride with the historical setting. I might grow to become as fond of the main characters here too.

I do appreciate that the mc has a very realistic reaction to the idea of sleeping with the enemy that has brought harm on his family
