I think the first BL I’ve read with the most green flags… such a gentle and considerate lover and not romanticising brute. While the stoicness felt real and the distance, fear of being hurt again felt real, there was that missing ingredient for the love that was felt between them. It was more obvious for the uke, but for the seme much was still unknown until the very end. To that extent there was a gap of feelings. Otherwise this manga would have been impeccable. The amount of respect and green lights here is really quite impressive. Perhaps the author is trying to emphasise a character who doesn’t know how to show love. In that way it worked. But for the readers understanding it would be nice to delve into his mind, into his heart even while away from the screen
