Complete ch 110 4.5 rounded down. It’s funny how both of them are in love with each other but don’t fucking realize it yet. Idiots. (Ch 22) Dumbass is really projecting his love for Rosalyn onto her instead of realizing that they are his own feelings. Also his obsession with her seems to be greater than the obsession he had with the original female lead. (Ch 25) Dumbass Kahir after hearing her describe her life after quitting: You can do all that while being married to me. (Ch 28) She doesn’t even have to try to be better than every other candidate. (Ch 42) The emperor blatantly flirting with her in front of everyone is such a treat. (Ch 59) Hi, what? This bitch is straight up insane. She keeps pulling out suspicious things. If Rosalyn doesn’t notice that something is wrong with Kahir and gets hurt, I’m going to be so pissed. It feels like that moment will come so I’m bracing myself. (Ch 67) He’s going to want to stab himself once he comes back to his senses. He better remember everything properly so that he can make it up to Rosalyn. (Ch 71) Kahir’s fucking face when posed with the opposition of Rosalyn’s family is so funny. His awkward and meek expression is perfect, absolutely hysterical. (Ch 74) It should be illegal to be that cute and hot, but Kahir out here doing just that. (Ch 77) He’s part of the family! Kahir is experiencing such happiness with/because of Rosalyn but the dowager empress is a manipulative bitch and the original female lead keeps coming back like a fucking cockroach. (Ch 82) Kahir crying and his completely in love expression make all the dramatics worth it. Quietly remembering how happy first timeline Kahir was to have children, and then thinking about how devastating it must have been for the bitch to reject their children. That would have been his first real experience with having a happy family of his own, something he’s always wanted, and his wife wasn’t mentally stable enough to persevere the family he barely got to experience. In the end he got the family he never had. It just took a lot to get there. (Ch 109)

Last ch 79 Estrella is lovely. Like wow, she is incredibly lovely. Unlike that poser, who was suspicious right from the beginning. If he was truly a “jubar” or “jewel eyed” then he would have been able to find the stone. He’s going to get beat once they find out he’s imitating a member of the imperial family. Until then, our baby girl is doing her best to save the people she cares about. (Ch 43 End of Season 1)

A million cheers for Cage, love her and her broken speech. She’s really cute. (Ch 20) Does she really think she’s fooling the emperor into thinking she’s weak? Wouldn’t he be able to sense her magic the same way she can sense other people’s magic, giving her away? Whatever it is, he’s playing along and I find that funny. Everyone thinks she’s lonely, which she is but that’s not why she’s doing certain things, and is pining for unconditional parental love. (Ch 22) Zerros, a little chaotic and super hot. (Ch 23) Another art style change. I like this one the best, everyone looks really great. Zerros and the emperor especially. (Ch 38) Zerros and the Emperor kick fucking ass! They would destroy the world if Liona wanted it. The mysteries of her body and soul are slowly being touched on. We got the emperor being super sweet to Liona so I won’t complain about anything. (Ch 41) Everyone is ready to kill the first prince for Liona. Liona’s mom is actually really great. She got Liona to embrace her new life as Liona instead of only seeing herself as a witch. Liona is still going to destroy her enemies and rule the empire, but she’s going to have people she cherishes near her, she’s not going to be alone. The emperor is a protective dad but doesn’t know how or why. Harriet knows, he sees the emperor having dad moments with the most precious princess. (Ch 48) The emperor realizing that he loves his daughter was so precious. He put it together. Leona is his precious little girl and he loves her. (Ch 62) Whenever Zerros/Zero and Leona get all sweet, prime example being when Leona opened up to him and ended it with stating that she trusts him, I think about this one artwork that I’m pretty sure is done by the same artist that did the novel cover. It has very Zerros and Leona (at least if I’m remembering the colors correctly) looking individuals holding three children that are clearly their children. That one image combined with my experience as a reader and writer have me routing for the two of them to get together in the background. (Ch 72) It is them! Confirmed! The title is on similar art and we have Leona being cutely jealous. (Ch 76.5) Zerros is getting jealous! There are all these pieces laying around and I can only wait for the next season. (Ch 84 End of Season 2)
