Last ch 66 Carmel and Blackie are hysterical. Carmel also totally fell first. There are serious undertones and the main conflict is something other than their marriage but damn are they funny. Last ch 56 Iconic and great, loving it so far, I just don’t exactly know where this is going and that bothers me. I do like seeing the more medieval style dress on the women. (Ch 13) He’s competing with a bird! (Ch 24) The lighting and colors during the scene where he’s in the water trying to make a decision was beautiful. Now that we know his vague feelings for her, it’s pretty clear how things are going to play out for the two of them. All that’s left is to enjoy the ride. (Ch 30) So the bird died right? Last ch 11 The sister bothers me greatly. She plays the victim so easily which then immediately puts Abella in a bad situation. Luckily her dad the emperor cares about her very deeply. High society might be against her right now but those closest to her will continue to stand by her side. Outside forces are pitting the princesses against each other. (Ch 11)
