Like with a lot of adaptations, there are moments where it feels like there is context missing. The question then becomes, is it an issue with the original or did things get lost in adaptation. Like supposedly sparkling trees and what the actual fuck she made that bomb out of. (Ch 21)

Last ch 33 She is the miracle to his calamity. Faylan is so sweet and adorable. He has no social skills but he has so much more going for him. Now that she’s a divine beast, they can fall in love and neither one of them will get in trouble with the other divine beasts. Her whole family is great and precious. They are dragging everyone who wrongs them. (Ch 23) Not vibing with this snake storyline. (Ch 33)
