Last ch 47 I kind of wish Rayne told Jaynen that her name isn’t Alice, when he said he wanted to know about her. Not tell him her actual name but that Alice isn’t her name and is instead her mother’s name. Just something! I’m laughing about how that bastard Claude is praising Rayne and using her as a high standard for his other children, when she’s the one that keeps getting in the way of his plans. The dramatic irony. (Ch 47)

Last ch 61 I love Reinheart. Beginning, middle, and end. I adore that man. (Ch 34) Duke Carlon Delphine is a genuinely good man. He wants to help Valtea, he wants to help the child he saw being abused for so long. I enjoy how everyone in the duchy treats her like a precious child, to varying degrees. She might be an adult physically but she needs to relearn how to live. Back to basics. Reinheart being described as knowing he’s broken and Valtea being described as not knowing she’s broken, is very fitting. The two of them are very broken. Now that Carlon is in the picture, it’s very obvious just how broken the two of them are. The emperor really out there being super reductive about Valtea’s trauma and Reinheart’s predisposition. For starters, they have emotions and they can act on those emotions. They aren’t emotionless dolls. They feel things differently, have difficulty interacting with others, and are generally apathetic. Their common sense and moral compass is super broken. Just more things I’m the only one getting worked up about. (Ch 41) Reinheart out here proving again that he’s my favorite. Duke Delphine and Duke Leon are good people, I can appreciate them. But Reinheart is the way he is and I’m fucked up so I find that to be greatly appealing. (Ch 44 End of Season 1) Focusing on the sweetness of the Snowta Peanut and Valeta calling Reinheart out instead of those imperial assholes. (Ch 57)

Last ch 39 I don’t want boys to ruin this. I want to bask in the sweet relationship between Charlize and Eloise for a little longer. Don’t just immediately ask about things that are obviously taboo. Spend some time with the beautiful and lovely Rose unnie. Main boy can wait. Rose takes priority. (Ch 14) Okay, main boy is kind of cute and Charlize asked in a way that didn’t ruin her time with Rose. Rose still has priority in my heart. Just make sure that main boy has actual food. (Ch 19)

Last ch 60 Him flirting with her in this stupid way of talking is adorably stupid. (Ch 35)

Last ch 55 Pie is the best, actually perfect. (Ch 29) Is it time? Will Axel finally get the meeting he’s been waiting years for? Pi(e), Veronica, and Aria have grown so well. Everyone looks great so far. (Ch 34) She miscalculated how much Axel trusts her. Which is a whole lot, he has unwavering faith in her. Based on the fact that he burned a man alive the moment he proved to be not worth the time, I have a feeling he doesn’t really trust anyone other than “Adrian”. He doesn’t seem to care about any other relationship. (Ch 37) Axel my boy, you’re doing great. It took a longer than planned but the lesson of betrayal was learned. Granted, there is the possibility of him believing that it was all to give him a status where he could be of proper use to her, not as her possession, but as one of her people, as Axel Valentine. Or something to that effect after learning her real identity. The boy feels betrayed and abandoned, there is anger and frustration there but he’s not trying to get revenge, he’s trying to get answers. My brain is continuing to pouring out thoughts about the Axel situation, there is so much I could write. Axel is the boy I care about the most in this. Blonde boy doesn’t compare. (Ch 42) Axel baby, come be useful. (Ch 43) Axel! Axel! Axel! Aria looks so small in comparison to Axel. Their heights aren’t that different but the angles and vibes of their reunion gave that impression. One of my least favorite things in isekai stories is persisting. Aria keeps thinking about Axel in the context of the original story. She changed so much, so much she deemed Axel to be “ruined”. But she is so shocked by the differences as if she isn’t directly involved with his upbringing. Axel is who he is because of her. She made sure his growth wasn’t halted by anything, she gave him numerous quality items, led him to more, and gave him an education fit for a noble heir. He is stronger and smarter than he was in the original and she made sure of it. I have trouble rationalizing her change of plans to not include Axel in her fighting force. Have since she first made the choice and continue to as time passes. As long as he doesn’t die, things should be good. No world ending regression. She makes me feel like I’m missing something! Why wouldn’t you at least try to use this sharply tuned blade that you fostered for this specific reason? The moment shit about the demons and the black magicians came out and dumped game changing information about the world setting, should have been the big sign that she was going to need each and every weapon she could gather to deal with this mess. This mess that she didn’t previously know the extent and details of because they weren’t in the fucking original. (Ch 46) Axel sweetheart, thank you for making my patience mean something. Axel is a finely honed sword and a huge variable, Aria made a mistake leaving him. I really can’t understand her thought process of leaving him on his own even after he sought her out. Now he’s dangerously salty. The way she handles Axel is bad, all around not good. (Ch 55)

Complete ch 5.5 Makato and Yuu are cute, real dumb boys. However, Seiichi and Seiji give me so much joy. I’m glad they reunited happily. (Ch 5.5)
