Don’t know if I want him to die in the end or not. I get the feeling he might. Once Mia started not chasing after the emperor, she got really wonderful. Now she’s entertaining. Everyone has character growth here. Not megane though, he’s been pretty consistent the whole time. (Ch 66) He was undercover. Deep undercover. At least my feeling of Governor Lehman dying was kind of on point, he planned on dying. He took on the role of the antagonist and was going to die like one too. Until Léana said, “No way,” and saved his ass. He was really just a lonely, kind of emo, boy. They don’t use each other’s names enough. The emperor’s name is fucking Welsh. Last ch 60 MORE! Blanche is a queen, we stan. (Ch 26) These boys. (Ch 44.5) Blanche is the only female protagonist this story needs. Not whatever dumb bitch took over the other girl. Seeing her play the system and still be lowkey lovey dovey with Riccardo makes my day. They are just holding hands under the table but it opens the door to her sneakily being affectionate with him all over the place. (Ch 60)

Last ch 32 Not only did the story get dumb, the upload order got fucked. Feels mediocre. (Ch 5) Chapter 10 isn’t loading. (Ch 10) I didn’t care enough to be bothered by losing a chapter’s worth of context, but I’m noticing that even if I had that chapter, it wouldn’t matter. It feels like so much is missing and the transitions are effectively nonexistent. (Ch 14) Still not great but having such an improvement in translation made reading it easier. Things are still missing, like how she moved the house. She made the plan without knowing all the supreme spirits so how the fuck was she planning to achieve that? She also still hasn’t told her father about the senate supporting the idiot, not that it will last because she is infinitely smarter than the idiot, but knowing that plotting is happening is important. Corpse is keeping that as his name and I can only laugh because I find it absurd. There is a limit to having a poor naming sense. (Ch 32)
