Last ch 61 I love Reinheart. Beginning, middle, and end. I adore that man. (Ch 34) Duke Carlon Delphine is a genuinely good man. He wants to help Valtea, he wants to help the child he saw being abused for so long. I enjoy how everyone in the duchy treats her like a precious child, to varying degrees. She might be an adult physically but she needs to relearn how to live. Back to basics. Reinheart being described as knowing he’s broken and Valtea being described as not knowing she’s broken, is very fitting. The two of them are very broken. Now that Carlon is in the picture, it’s very obvious just how broken the two of them are. The emperor really out there being super reductive about Valtea’s trauma and Reinheart’s predisposition. For starters, they have emotions and they can act on those emotions. They aren’t emotionless dolls. They feel things differently, have difficulty interacting with others, and are generally apathetic. Their common sense and moral compass is super broken. Just more things I’m the only one getting worked up about. (Ch 41) Reinheart out here proving again that he’s my favorite. Duke Delphine and Duke Leon are good people, I can appreciate them. But Reinheart is the way he is and I’m fucked up so I find that to be greatly appealing. (Ch 44 End of Season 1) Focusing on the sweetness of the Snowta Peanut and Valeta calling Reinheart out instead of those imperial assholes. (Ch 57)

Last ch 38 I came here for porn and I got plot thrown in my face. I underestimated the lengths this was willing to go. This is just suffering on repeat until the world is destroyed. (Ch 38)

Complete ch 6 Keidai was gay for Kakine from the beginning, you can’t change my mind. Not like it matters. The two are perfect regardless. My two precious and traumatized boys. (Ch 6)

Last ch 26 She is so heavily traumatized. Asiel, please help her heal. Take fucking responsibility for your actions. The boys must have learned the truth after Sienna’s death, preregression. How terribly abused she was, how she was taken advantage of by that bitch, and their own actions playing a big role. Note, if they knew the whole time and still did nothing to protect her, I will likely quit. That shit isn’t okay. Sienna isn’t spicy, she doesn’t bite back, and she wallows in her own misery. Her trauma is blinding her, preventing her from seeing the level of manipulation stemming from that bitch. She doesn’t think to question the boys’ previous attitudes. She isn’t the best protagonist but I understand the psychology. This is certainly not what I was hoping for. (Ch 23)
