Last ch 81 Hue! Uwhaaaaa! He’s crazy about her and she likes him. The affection is blooming. I actually quite enjoy reading this. Lucia/Vivian doesn’t get on my nerves. Instead I find her to be quite charming and very competent. Just like how she charmed Hue, she’s charmed me too. Granted she’s charmed everyone that works for the Taran family, temporary or long term. The wisdom granted to her from living through her life several times over is grand. (Ch 44) That whole fucking fight made me so angry! I wanted to slap Hue so badly and yell at him to take better care of his wife. When Jerome said something I was so relieved. Now little Damien is here and I agree, he is very cute. His looks are just like Hue and with that personality no one would question their relation. The reveal that Damien isn’t Hue’s son was something I thought about back when the brother was introduced. It wasn’t very surprising and more of a “Saw that coming” kind of moment. Vivian is starting to piece some things together and it makes me love her even more. We Stan a woman who can think! Unlike that other bitch who really thinks that she’s special despite knowing that no woman up to Hue’s marriage has been special to him. Hell, he fucking forgot about her after he got married! Dumb bitch. If she does anything to precious Vivian, her head will be rolling. Everyone in that house respects and acknowledges Vivian as the Grand Duchess, and Hue has major “I love my wife” syndrome. No one is going to stand still if Vivian is hurt, emotionally or physically. (Ch 75) Well... I guess it would still be okay if they had a baby, they just have to prevent the doctor from ever getting close to them to force or influence Damien and the new baby to “continue the bloodline.” It still makes me very uncomfortable though. Parts with that doctor and his fucked up mentality make me super uncomfortable. Might wait for a lot more of this to be released so that if he shows up again I can just skim and fucking sprint past all the uncomfy parts. (Ch 81)

Last ch 35 Raphlet and Yuriel are literally perfect. He’s a sadist but he’s also so protective of her. His inner conflict with his desires is so good. This boy can’t properly push her away because he’s so sweet on her. He is a boy so he’s dumb, for sure made some dumb moves but also made some good moves. When I learned the web novel was properly horny, I jumped on that so quickly. Boy, it is good. I’m sincerely looking forward to seeing the uncensored version of them confirming their feelings for each other, to properly compare it to it’s parallel from the beginning. I’m ready to surpass where the manhua version is and be conflicted between keeping up or not touching it until I read all I can of the web novel. It’s ‘The Villainess is a Marionette’ all over again. Just with smut. (Ch 35) I adore them. So much, so greatly, their dynamic brings me joy. The two of them have such unwavering feelings for each other. Even if they each do dumb shit sometimes. Yuriel is fully aware that Raphlet wants to destroy her, she can tell that he’s holding back that desire. She also knows that he wants to protect her from outside threats, he wants to take care of her, he wants to spoil her with love. He’s so clearly troubled by his desire to destroy her being, but she loves all of him. She accept all of him unconditionally. Is the relationship healthy? No. Do I care? No. There is the terrorist plot line picking up, and the leader of it is this silver haired grey eyed bastard who has tons of books on hypnosis. The idea is super well written, holy fuck, yes, it’s not bullshit. However, I have a line. Yuriel should never be brainwashed when it comes to Raphlet. She should always put Raphlet first, she should never betray him, and she should never share information that should stay between the two of them. Control her to use as a figure for your plot all you want, you cannot brainwash her attachment and loyalty to Raphlet away. She should always choose him. If something happens that betrays that, I’m fucking done. Her love for Raphlet is so ingrained into her being, he’s the only one that can calm her when she wakes up in a fit, he’s the only one who can look at her sexually, he is the reason for her existence. There is no fucking way that regular hypnosis and suggestion is going to fuck with that. I refuse to accept a story that would use brainwashing to turn Yuriel even slightly away from Raphlet. Save for some powerful drug/poison taking away her consciousness and free will or something attached to the first 8 years of her life, of which she cannot remember, I will not entertain the idea of such a development. Even then, I still wouldn’t accept it with open arms because it would be stupid. (Web Novel Chapter 54)
