Last ch 41 Love all the Vinas, they are so funny and wonderful. They love Al so much. I was just going to write about how cute they are and put a little note that said, we basically got confirmation that Al is the alchemist of gold. It’s been something that I’ve thought about since it was mentioned that they are looking for this person. Like, the light was gold when they made the contract and Julles was all, “well that’s weird.” For fucks sake, if that’s not making it blatantly obvious, then what is? Maybe the fact that Al can read all languages, is contracted with FIVE vinas who are fucking demigods, survived that horrible poison that blocked her hormones and destroyed her body for so long, has fucking visions, and has gained the favor of that prickly purple haired boy who is only supposed to live for the alchemist of gold, makes it obvious enough for all of us to understand. All that’s great and wonderful, but the fucking AUDACITY this bastard has to approach her as if nothing is wrong and he’s just seeing a friend for the first time in forever. How fucking dare you. You explained nothing after dumping whatever you needed to say to her and then leaving. You didn’t try to contact her, you didn’t try to have your sister convey the situation, and now you’re showing your face? No. Fuck you and your sister. Do not approach Al. Stop hurting my baby. My baby who is starting to heal! If you are, show some fucking shame for your past actions. Fuck your intentions, you hurt Al and sided with her abusers. You fucked up, you no longer have any right to stay in her life. (Ch 41)

Last ch 20 It’s happening. It’s a thing. (Ch 20)

Last ch 50 Boys are easy and his facial muscles are dead. I can’t stop laughing about how dead faced he is through all of this. (Ch 5) His smile is stunning. He is absolutely adorable. Because this is drawn media, for the benefit of the reader, expressions are drawn more prominently. Resulting in the reader noticing the changes in a character’s expression more than those around them. A lot of Duke Anais’ expressions are shown through his eyes and body language, his glares and displeasure being the most notable. I’m trying to be understanding of the fact that as a reader I have more insight into the situation but damn is it annoying. He’s so soft and protective of her! From the very beginning! Astel’s lies aren’t great. The way she tells lies about her identity is so suspicious. It’s clearly rehearsed! Trying to be understanding. Most people aren’t great liars. Trying to be understanding about a lot! (Ch 20) “He seems like he’s in love.” Well no shit, he is in love. (Ch 28) I can’t with Astel. Her careless and misleading behavior is a fucking problem. It’s not cute and it’s not funny. (Ch 42)

Last ch 19.3 Ragna is perfect. My kind of man, brutal, beautiful, doting, and not human. I have the upmost faith in him to protect Musee and her happiness. (Vol 3 Ch 12.1) The slow change of Musee’s eyes brings me an unreasonable amount of joy. She has dragon eyes now! Her eyes match Ragna’s! (Vol 4 Ch 19.3)

Last ch 38 I came here for porn and I got plot thrown in my face. I underestimated the lengths this was willing to go. This is just suffering on repeat until the world is destroyed. (Ch 38)

Last Ch 24 I adore the character design in this. The varied personalities, motives, morals, philosophy, appearances, and abilities. Hot damn, I feel like I’m being spoiled. However, nothing compares to Casar/Qasar. That boy, holy shit, every time I learn something new about him, the more I love him. He is so precious. I wish he would hold me in his lap while I’m waking up the way he did with Yoon Seul. The characters and the world are very enjoyable. The plot, the jury is still out on that one. I can see it being great but I can also see it as something unremarkable. It likely won’t be bad, based on the set up done so far, but that doesn’t mean it’s going to be something I find myself invested in. Something that is entirely a me problem. (Ch 20) Yoon Seul, you’re doing great sweetie. (Ch 24)
