Last ch 68 Fully did not expect this to be so gosh darn good. I even cried when Anna died! The child! She was such a sweet and darling child. Rietta is lovely. She is so beautiful and such a fool. Her trauma is well written, major props on that front. Killian rarely has his name said, if it wasn’t Killian, I wouldn’t have remembered at all what his name was. He’s a good boy who cares so deeply and sincerely for his people. Right now, he’s constantly lowkey flirting with Rietta. The old man from the abbey and Tigris the beautiful white horse are my current favorite side characters. Honorable mention of the orange cat that shows up at meal times. (Ch 54)

Last ch 41 Love all the Vinas, they are so funny and wonderful. They love Al so much. I was just going to write about how cute they are and put a little note that said, we basically got confirmation that Al is the alchemist of gold. It’s been something that I’ve thought about since it was mentioned that they are looking for this person. Like, the light was gold when they made the contract and Julles was all, “well that’s weird.” For fucks sake, if that’s not making it blatantly obvious, then what is? Maybe the fact that Al can read all languages, is contracted with FIVE vinas who are fucking demigods, survived that horrible poison that blocked her hormones and destroyed her body for so long, has fucking visions, and has gained the favor of that prickly purple haired boy who is only supposed to live for the alchemist of gold, makes it obvious enough for all of us to understand. All that’s great and wonderful, but the fucking AUDACITY this bastard has to approach her as if nothing is wrong and he’s just seeing a friend for the first time in forever. How fucking dare you. You explained nothing after dumping whatever you needed to say to her and then leaving. You didn’t try to contact her, you didn’t try to have your sister convey the situation, and now you’re showing your face? No. Fuck you and your sister. Do not approach Al. Stop hurting my baby. Complete ch 65 At least Taejung is self aware that he’s being unfair to Yoonie. Unlike that handsome stud who is being much to nice to Joyoon. Sweetheart, you don’t fucking treat sex partners that well. I understand him and him not taking off the ring because it will cause more trouble than it’s worth is a whole as mood. Kwonjoo is, delicious. I don’t have a lot of faith in Taejung’s new relationship. His partner is not confident or totally stable it seems. He might try to hurt baby Yoon. It’s a waiting game to see how this plays out. (Ch 20) I think they changed the names again. (Ch 26) Main boys, Ha Yoon and Shin Kwon. Names did kind of change. (Ch 28) Kwon wouldn’t have gotten dumped if he said something definite about how he feels about Yoon. Fuck, I don’t expect Kwon to know why he got dumped because Yoon stopped it so he wouldn’t fall any more for that big handsome stud of a man. Instead Kwon is left confused but ultimately accepted it. I’m thinking of things he could have said to Yoon but it all boils down to Kwon saying he wants Yoon by his side in a relationship that is more than just partners, that he wants the emotions that Yoon has towards him. Now instead, they are going to be a little awkward about it and Kwon is likely going to be really frustrated. The whole thing with the ex-boyfriend is such a, you did this and you know you’re an idiot for regretting it now. Both these doofuses reaped what they sowed. Kwon got dumped using a condition that he set when the relationship started and Taejung pushed Yoon out of his life first. (Ch 33) I’ve put off finishing this but I’m just going to do it. Let’s go! I can do this! (About to read Ch 37) Well. I did it. Even if I did cry for 20 chapters. I did it. I will always love Kwon Shin, he is such a bastard and I adore that about him. Fucking. I don’t have beautifully put together thoughts about this. I’m just a mess. I saw all this shit coming, I knew it was going to go the way it did which is why I put off keeping up or finishing this.
