This gets 5 stars despite being more of a 4 star story because violently possessive Miyuki Kazuya is so fucking yummy. Then we added Furuya into the fray as a childhood friend and first planned mate of our precious Eijun. Big wow and amazing goodness. I love them. And I love them being adorable at the end with Miyuki making his claim of Eijun VERY clear to everyone. Fuck! Kazuya is so yummy.

Complete ch 39 It said “fin” in the last chapter so I’m pretty sure it’s over. Maybe there are some extras or something and that’s why it’s still marked as ongoing. (Ch 39) It got it’s status changed to complete!

Last ch 56 Temp: chapter 56 is in Spanish. Oh my god! I don’t like food but hot damn seeing him enjoy food makes me so happy. He’s like a puppy! He’s so sweet and wholesome. He calls the empress Noona! Top notch quality content. Now he’s got Beanie, the cutest little pig! Them eating together was so cute! (Ch 56)

Last ch 75 Maybelle is so sweet. I absolutely adore her! The whole manor puts her well being and happiness first. Then Rekeil(?) is such an over protective dad. Bellerophon coming in the rear being protective as well! Once again, fictional children prove to be a million times better than real ones. Granted there are some asshole kids in here but they are assholes on purpose. Rekeil and Bellerophon will protect Maybelle from any boy (or person in general really) that could mean their precious Maybelle any harm. (Ch 46) Bellerophon: “I am the son of the emperor.” Me: “Yeah we know. You knew the inside of the imperial palace from memory, have outstanding magical abilities, hate the emperor, and have a similar physical aesthetic to the emperor. No one should be surprised.” (Ch 69)

Last ch 107 God damn! When it started I was like, okay whatever. But then I kept reading and holy fuck! I can’t pin point end game or even if one of the boys will be end game. It feels like one of those where it will be one confession after the other. Who really cares about that though!? Penelope is doing so well! (Ch 52) This hunting competition is going to be amazing, if that carriage ride was anything to go by. Holy fuck. The affection meter going up after Derrick saw her and then the duke showing off the gift he got from Penelope. Priceless. It took me a minute but I think I’ve figured out Derrick. He’s like the duke in that he didn’t know how to communicate with Penelope despite wanting to do so, which caused a rift in their relationship to form. Reynold had the -10% affection at the beginning but Derrick didn’t. You’d expect it to be in the negative because of their poor relationship but instead his affection meter is at the same place as those who don’t even know Penelope personally. Which removes the idea that Derrick completely hates her. I do wonder if he’s attracted to Penelope as a woman. She is very attractive and it would give Derrick another reason to want to avoid her and not have her call him brother. (Ch 56) Kallisto is fucking insane. He is my personal first choice however. Eclise is really cute, for fucking sure, but I personally love that crazy golden haired bastard. However, I figured he knew she was saying bullshit to get out of dying but because it was amusing he decided to let her go. But I don’t get that vibe from how he’s reacting to Penelope saying she doesn’t love him anymore. Maybe I’m imagining it. (Ch 58) I was partially right about Derrick. He has never hated her but found communicating with her and her actions to be frustrating. So he held a prejudice against her instead of trying to figure out why she would act like that, or even consider her point of view at all. He really is the, treats someone poorly and is surprised when they stop tolerating it, type. How dare you. You’re in the same boat with Reynold in my mind, useless. Even if he gets his shit together and starts treating Penelope better, he’s caused too much damage to forgive and forget. That trust is broken. I was absolutely correct in that Kallisto is the best. He’s a crazy bastard, but he’s a reasonable crazy bastard. (Ch 83) Vinter proved himself to be quite admirable. The different colors don’t correspond to the character’s color anymore. Current theory is that the color is representative of what kind of feelings they hold for Penelope. With the coming of age party coming up, I can think of two possible outcomes. Yvonne comes back on the coming of age ceremony the same as she did in the game, making Penelope feel even more so that she can’t fight against the system and that her life is in extreme danger Or Yvonne doesn’t come back on the day of Penelope’s coming of age party, when the tense Penelope experiences the whole party without the appearing of the long lost ducal princess, the real daughter, she thinks that maybe things can be different. Or she continues to be tense until Yvonne does show up. Yvonne not coming back to the duchy feels highly unlikely. I can’t remember a story where the original female lead doesn’t show up. I think the duke and Reynold would continue to treat Penelope the same. The duke especially, since Penelope is his daughter, he cares about her as her father. Reynold seems to have proven himself to be mildly reliable, he knows now how much Penelope has suffered, so he would likely prioritize Yvonne, but he wouldn’t shut down Penelope or be oblivious to her potential suffering. Derrick, I have zero faith in him to be considerate of Penelope. Even Reynold knows how shit his brother is towards her. Derrick is a coward who could never see Penelope as his sister. I don’t have great confidence in my conclusions but maybe I’m right about these idiot ducal brothers. (Ch 94)

Last ch 6.3 You protect your Mao-sama Tooru! (Ch 4.2)

Complete ch 104 4.5 rounded up for enjoyment factors. The main characters are very fun and uncovering the secrets surrounding Cecile is a ride. My biggest question is how she connects to the blood before her birth? Estian needs her though. That much we know and it is even confirmed from the background isekai character. Oh yeah, Emperor Estian is so fucking yummy. He also has “I love my wife” energy. Top notch, do adore. (Ch 50) She’s so cool! Estian’s going to come back and be all impressed by his super powerful wife! (Ch 54) Go save your mans baby girl! (Ch 58) Gosh! Babies! It’s so good to see them happy and together again! It’s been so many chapters since they’ve been together. (Ch 63) They are the cutest, oh my god, they are so fucking cute. He loves her so much! And she loves him so much too! (Ch 69) Estian she’s going to be okay! Please don’t freak out too much! She’s not gone! Your most precious person will come back! (Ch 79) All their boys are a little crazy but these girls still love them all the same. They were made for each other, but it’s still real cute how easily Estian falls in love with her. So much of my notes, is just me gushing about Cecil and Estain’s relationship. Big shrug. (Ch 100) All of the congratulatory art at the end was so beautiful, I’m sobbing. (Ch 104)
