This gets 5 stars despite being more of a 4 star story because violently possessive Miyuki Kazuya is so fucking yummy. Then we added Furuya into the fray as a childhood friend and first planned mate of our precious Eijun. Big wow and amazing goodness. I love them. And I love them being adorable at the end with Miyuki making his claim of Eijun VERY clear to everyone. Fuck! Kazuya is so yummy.

Ch 35 I was enjoying it and then they made it pointlessly complicated and dramatic. It really kills any enjoyment I had. This really fell into one of those, if they just fucking communicated none of this would have happened, situations. When the main conflict is based off of poor communication it ruins everything. (Ch 34)

Last ch 70 The only character I really care about deeply is Ella, and she’s a side character that isn’t even seen that much. Trisia isn’t bad and I can enjoy her moments of being admirable but I don’t care enough about her as the leading character. The emperor is pathetic as a person and the mistress is arguably more pathetic than him. All three are incredibly broken for fucking sure. I care a little more about the emperor now since I’m curious what he’s going to do, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t pathetic. He should focus on himself before trying to receive the love of others. Fucking deal with the bitch and then spend years trying to get back on decent footing with your wife. Adopt a kid, say fuck it to the Royal line! He’s the fucking emperor, no one can reasonably stop him. (Ch 70)

Last ch 75 I want to strangle those two self centered assholes every time they show up. He’s complaining that she doesn’t love him when she has done nothing but love him since their childhood. She has lived her life for him but he’s the one that drew a line, came to his own misguided conclusions, and refused to talk to her about it like a fucking adult. Now instead of telling her the plan he’s just going through with it thinking everything will work out the way that he wants it to? Bitch?! The dumb bitch mistress, I want her to crash and burn, fuck her, everything she is doing is for her own self interest. She’s pathetic and naive. The main good couple, amazing, love it, fucking everything. They are so cute. She is his queen and he will spend the rest of their lives proving it to her. Heinly, I love you. He’s real cute as a bird and as a man. (Ch 75)

Last ch 126 The dog names. The fucking dog names. No one should be surprised by the governor being the antagonist. He’s been suspicious since he showed up when he wasn’t supposed to be in the story. Don’t know if I want him to die in the end or not. I get the feeling he might. Once Mia started not chasing after the emperor, she got really wonderful. Now she’s entertaining. Everyone has character growth here. Not megane though, he’s been pretty consistent the whole time. (Ch 66) He was undercover. Deep undercover. At least my feeling of Governor Lehman dying was kind of on point, he planned on dying. He took on the role of the antagonist and was going to die like one too. Until Léana said, “No way,” and saved his ass. He was really just a lonely, kind of emo, boy. They don’t use each other’s names enough. The emperor’s name is fucking Welsh. Paul’s last name is Retriever. (Ch 126)

Last ch 66 Carmel and Blackie are hysterical. Carmel also totally fell first. There are serious undertones and the main conflict is something other than their marriage but damn are they funny. (Ch 51) Carmel! He likes being with her and doesn’t want her to leave. It doesn’t seem romantic right now but their partnership is great! Carmel!!! (Ch 57)

Last ch 79 Blake is a precious baby, he’s just a baby! I need more of Ancia being confident and wonderful. (Ch 19) Ancia’s hair so super long, it’s quite beautiful. (Ch 31.5) He picked both of them up! The emperor picked both of them up and is carrying them! This man! (Ch 54) I love Thenston, and if he dies, I’m going to be so fucking upset. He’s finally allowing himself to be a dad to his son. He’s had like two months, max. And now that Blake’s curse is gone, the three of them can appear in public as a family. That man cannot die. I do not have the patience to reread this and come up with well thought out theories, I’m going on pure gut feeling. (Ch 60) Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Yeah, not sure about this. (Ch 79)
