Sakura Trick
Not something I would ever recommend and I'm guessing was only made into an anime because of the physical aspect. Quite disappointing, to be honest.
Yuunagi Marbled
I have read a lot of manga and this one is still one of my favorite school life dramas. So beautiful and so touching.
Liberty
Finally a manga with an androgynous lead! Such a great manga with many layers that leaves the reader wanting more. Great! Edit: This has taken a turn I don't like at all. I understand introducing her ex just to create some conflict, but did the conflict have to be cheating? Maki deserves better. Finally found a manga with an androgynous lead and now so much of the story has been shifted away from her and to Liz's conflict. A conflict she created by cheating one a really amazing person. This is beyond confusing and Liz is no doubt the epitome of crazy if she thinks anything with her ex will change.
Just Right There
Don't mind the scenes or the art. Very aesthetic. With that being said, as a lesbian who has watched A LOT of lesbian films, I can see where they grasped they're inspiration. Some of the love scenes remind me of loves scenes from several lesbian films I've seen over the years but regardless of that, this is worth the read. The loves scenes aren't out of place and don't take away from the over all story which is one of the things I look for when reading yuri. In fact, the primary reason I don't like reading yaoi is because it is primarily based on XXX scenes and it overwhelmes the actual plotline. But most true yuri are done very aesthetically and with great storylines aside from hentai lol. Still, I am most likely quite biased on the subject.
On A Leash
I do enjoy this overall story. However, I find the slow development is frustrating, but it's really taking off again and after the hiatus, I bet it's gonna be even better after all that set-up. Edit: I was right!! So much better after the hiatus! The pacing reset itself and I love this story so much.
