That would have been a 10/10 but the resolution of the whole troubles that came from the mother's illness was.. not what I hoped for. The fireworks, the illness, managing the hotel along with studying and working, the part time av gig, the room fire expenses, not eating enough and fainting? That's such a heavy baggage for one person alone, least of all someone in their younger years. You can practically feel the oozing 'I've had enough of myself. I've had enough of everything'. And what? The resolution for all this and the relationship situation is leaving abroad? Anticlimatic and disappointing, honestly. I should take off 2 stars for that (sigh) but the build-up at least was pretty good and intense, if nothing else.
