Soulmate(Yuri)
"Both worlds are always changing, but the only one who never changes is... you, who is always by my side."
The Love Doctor
"I suppose I like girls." As someone who's read many GL stories, I could recognise some common tropes, like a "straight" girl (Erae) falling for an experienced lesbian (Yun). The "straight" girl has a "straight" best friend who's seemingly homophobic but secretly in love with her (Suji). The experienced lesbian has a hot ex-girlfriend who's trying to get her back. (Yo-ahn) Yet, I still liked this story. I liked how the different characters had different views regarding their sexuality. Yun had everything figured out while Erae had recently started figuring things out. Suji was in denial, and Yo-Ahn liked people regardless of gender. I could really resonate with a lot of their experiences as lesbians. The characters all had distinct personalities, albeit cliched. The backstories regarding Ballet was also interesting. The relationships were complex and weren't forced at all. The side couples didn't even end up together because of the toxicity, and I appreciated it. It was a simple, realistic, and enjoyable story. Update: In addition to my original review, this is one of the rare Yuri manga where the characters acknowledge they're lesbians and not just "straight" with an exception for that one girl. It makes me happy as a lesbian. I might just give this manga 5 stars because of this
