Stopped on 160 This is getting more and more uninteresting as I read it...... Suuuuper disappointed with the weird S&M direction they went with this story. The beginning of the story was really hyping it up to become a really sweet, comedic, and corny story with a decent amount of drama. However, the S&M aspect was so out of left field for me that it just took me out of the story. Qin Xian seemed to be becoming someone that wanted to get rid of the SO, so that he could finally have the gentle brother he knows Wang Yi is, so the whole crossdressing thing is a little frustrating.. I do get that they're trying to stimulate the original novel's plot, but it's weird that they didn't just forgo the crossdressing once they realized it was more important to make the plot "more exciting " and decide to be an A1 protagonist like Qin Xian said he was studying up on since.... BL is already extremely exciting in of itself. I guess in this way, I feel like Scum's Villain does it really well because of its consistencies and confidence in its plot and character's personalities--even when the character becomes corrupt.

Stopped on 50 Prince, bride, scholar, illegitimate child, manhua It's kind of dragging because they're already together, so I wish the manhua-ga focused on the repairing the past/ revenge aspect of it like Angelic Lady does

stopped on 14 01/11/24 finished MAL Rate: 4 i feel like this story got lost and confused itself in the making lol... When they tried explaining the motive for Lucian, I didn't get it... and I wished they just let him be the bad guy. I don't really get why he was so easily forgiven. They didn't really play into how Shuu was in his past life? They kind of do, but what I mean is that it just didn't really fit into his character and the story?? I wish they just made it a case of amnesia instead of adding the whole reincarnation aspect to it since I feel like him being reincarnated didn't really translate well. I would've thought it'd add to the comedy, but it didn't really do much for other than the beginning. I feel like the began well, ran out of ideas, and just tried their best to continue it, whether or not it fit well with the story.

Bruh van needs to chill out. Shade was definitely the better option After finishing, my opinion still stands... I wish they didn't add the extra alternative story. It definitely ruins my image of Van Brandt tbh. He becomes pathetic, whiny, and desperate, and i still end up rooting for Shade... He honestly doesn't seem like someone Bertha would actually like AT ALL. I think it's odd that she seems so fond him despite his personality.
