-stopped on ch. 72 a pretty confusing read, but it's still endearing the drama is pretty abrupt and misplaced

Funny how the manhwa-ga is saying it's too short... Girl, it was way too long. -ch. 34 was EVERYTHING "THEY CALL IT THE SOUND OF OUR TUITION BURSTING IN THE AIR" OHMYFUCKINGGOD Pretty annoyed at Gyul in ch. 33. He completely overblew the situation when it wasn't that deep. Hyunho was literally saying that Sunggyu basically knew even before they got together and that it wasn't hard for him to find out when they got together. And, if he knew before, and since he has been talking to Gyul all normally since then, what makes him think he's someone that doesn't accept them or someone he can't trust? I literally don't understand his anger, and for once I am annoyed and ashamed of Gyul. I wish Hyunho listened to his friend and raised his voice & push-and pulled. It would have been correct in this situation because Hyunho wasn't in the wrong. At all. It was practically out of his hands since it was all dependent on if Sunggyu would be able to figure it out. It has nothing to do with Hyunho "telling" someone because that wasn't what it really even was… And, now with ch. 36, Gyul is seriously just ridiculous… Please respect Hyunho's feelings for fuck's sake!! This is the second time he was forced to appeal to Gyul, and it's just tiring! Instead of acting like a child and basically manipulating Hyunho to do what Gyul, himself, wants, why not sort it out like grown-ups and try to understand both sides?! This is just disappointing.

Why is this even tagged as a Shounen Ai? The entire story seemed to lead up to that kind of ending, but once you get to Bai Ming's heart issues, you're wondering if they're a rival and where this is even heading. The ending is pretty unsatisfying. I would have actually preferred it if Ming Qi was a murderer's son because it would've been something unique. Not only that but as they try to instill strength & finding independence in dependency--which I'm guessing is the whole moral here--it's horrifically done. We see this whole dispute over Tang Yuan and Xiao Xin, whom we literally can't understand why they're supposed to be this "in love" couple that needs to make amends, and we're supposed to accept that the only solution is for Ming Qi to take the verbal abuse and for Tang Yuan to just be okay with that and not lash back? To even want her back when we don't even understand why? Why the hell couldn't we find Shi Yi? How does that even make sense? For him to suddenly disappear and for his family and friends to not find him ANYWHERE?? And, we're supposed to be satisfied with that? I might've been okay with being tricked into reading it for the supposed "Shounen Ai"--and POSSIBLE queerbaiting (only IF the manhua-ga was aware of how this was being marketed)--had the ending not been so messy and rushed. The story wasn't bad going into it, but they just left the ending with having too much left to be desired.

Surprisingly, rather than the writing, it was the characters that made this manga less likable.

THAT CH. 2 SCENE WAS SERIOUSLY ONE OF THE MOST ROMANTIC MOMENTS IN YAOI WHATTHEHELL.

The sex scene that took place after Shou-chan burst in honestly rubbed me the wrong way. I get their relationship is complicated, but for Kaji to always be unnecessarily violent is extremely frustrating. The 5th chapter low-key doesn’t make sense. They barely made any significant progress in their relationship, in the sense that they literally don't just sit down and TALK, even though Midori is literally hyping this moment up since the beginning (and Kaji is saying that he'll answer it all). All they do is--surprise, surprise--fuck. I have a sneaking suspicion that all their problems would have been fixed if Kaji could do just that, but I guess they wouldn't have been able to milk this out to 5 volumes if they did. In the end, the most pressing question, in Midori's case, is never really elaborated upon, and we're forced to make up our own interpretation based on Kaji's vague answer, to which doesn't even seem to have a clear correlation to the question Midori asked. Honestly, this last installment should have ended after the 3rd volume, as it would have actually made for a nice ending. The 5th chapter was undoubtedly a horrible way to end it.
