Stopped on 153 This is getting more and more uninteresting as I read it...... Suuuuper disappointed with the weird S&M direction they went with this story. The beginning of the story was really hyping it up to become a really sweet, comedic, and corny story with a decent amount of drama. However, the S&M aspect was so out of left field for me that it just took me out of the story. Qin Xian seemed to be becoming someone that wanted to get rid of the SO, so that he could finally have the gentle brother he knows Wang Yi is, so the whole crossdressing thing is a little frustrating.. I do get that they're trying to stimulate the original novel's plot, but it's weird that they didn't just forgo the crossdressing once they realized it was more important to make the plot "more exciting " and decide to be an A1 protagonist like Qin Xian said he was studying up on since.... BL is already extremely exciting in of itself. I guess in this way, I feel like Scum's Villain does it really well because of its consistencies and confidence in its plot and character's personalities--even when the character becomes corrupt.
