-stopped on: ch. 53 Premise was interesting before they decided to undermine what seemed to be an overwhelming hatred for teachers--in the case of Kazuki. Furthermore, for a teacher that seemed so perfect, the mangaka did a bad job of trying to transition into depicting him as an actually hugely flawed character; after all, for a teacher that was on it for the first couple chapters to suddenly make extremely careless mistakes out of no where is just lazy writing. And, the argument that his sudden feelings for Kazuki is what's "turning him stupid" doesn't work here. At the beginning, I was feeling it since it realistically showed that Miwa was more than an emotionless top that somehow gets off without ever showing he's enjoying it (which ends up becoming true later on), and it seemed as if they were pursuing a darker plot in the midst of all the comedy, only to soon dismiss and barely touch on the problem as if it's nothing and change the characters from strong and independent to weak and dependent then rely on Kazuki's "immaturity" (a.k.a. complaints at every single moment he's upset at nothing-for the exception of the 1st incident with Naoya) is just a damn shame. I believe it could have been much more than it is if they at least decided to withhold the sex and fill it with sexual tension, especially if they don't know how to draw anything other than the standard missionary and doggy style. It just ends up becoming a story that decides to hit every.single. yaoi stereotype that exists.
