Once and for all, she used all 200 of her paths to become stronger than Mordred for 12 seconds, ands managed to decapitate him. She mangled Mordred's body like a madman, it was regenerating so she burned it all, then gathered the ash. Then, their group headed back, trailed by the ominousity of the unknown. ----- This is literally so beautiful... dang the character development is insane, INSANE! The storytelling is smooth and the pacing is just right, there isn't a drawn out arc as well. But sadly the last update is 2 years ago. I'll wait for this but still, the season end is beautiful. You can just imagine the life she will lead after all this, she will change immensely, but the journey to collecting paths have only begun. Will she still remember her goal by the time, after so many years of collecting paths? Will she truly be able to go back to the way it was before. The only ending I could think of is for her to collect enough paths to buy her base world, then have her memories from the moment she became a Pathfinder completely erased, before she could truly go back... but wouldn't the be too sad. Summary: Lu Yi died after receiving an award ceremony that was supposed to belong to Gu Jiangyuan. 3 years later, he woke up and found himself in the body of Xia Mo, who has a very notorious online image. He recently got into an accident under the influence of alchohol, and died. Lu Yi, who is now in the body of Xia Mo, discovered that he was bound to some sort of system, and was given two main objectives. One is to solve the body's karmic trace (and regrets) for his borrowed body to accept him fully, and the other is to fill up the《Picture of a Hundred Ghosts》 First of all, he settled some of his debt and then rented a new apartment. Since he was being ousted by the company, and the online netizens trying to raze him because of the driving incident as well as attempting to climb to Gu Jiangyuan's bed, he had no source of income. Nobody would accept him once seeing his ID for how infamous he was, so he decided on being a fortune teller instead. That day, he came across a buff man who had a little girl chained on the neck connected to the man's hand. It turned out to be some sort of ghost, which freaked him out (yeah lmao man it was lowkey creepy lol). In time, he was called by his agent, who he concluded was not a good man. He began to see a red thread connecting them, it seemed to be the thing he had to resolve for his body. That night, the little girl visited him asking for help. He managed to subdue the man after some trouble by utilizing the fate chain, yet a clown suddenly emerged from the man's body and dragged the chained soul child with it. The girl was rescued with his help, and the police gave him merit for it. Yet the little girl was still in a coma, so he decided to pursue the clown. In his search at night, he saw a clown distributing flyers holding a bunch of red balloons (this was definitely Pennywise reference) yet nobody was taking them. He took slight pity on it and received a flyer and a balloon, which started bleeding black blood forming the human orifices. He turned back to scold the clown for the prank yet saw nothing, so he continued his search for the girl. Arriving at a park, everything went freaky, he was hearing children playing yet saw nothing, then he was suddenly dragged, his foot chained. Xia Mo was about to dangle mid-air when the chains were cut. A man arrived, turns out it was Gu Jiangyuan, who looked handsome asf (lmao hahhahah he is so yjh coded. Anyways this summary is getting too long lets just do a quick recap on everything. I'll continue the long version if I feel like it later). --- The clown was defeated, Xia Mo absorbed the core to the book, Gu Jiangyuan was interested in it to resurrect Lu Yi, the girl's soul was restored. Xia Mo encountered his little brother in the street, he went to the hospital where he stayed, got involved with the obsessed Patient no. 14, the taciturn doctor, his angel-like girlfriend, and another patient impostor. Gu Jiangyuan, who was monitoring Xia Mo, arrived on time and settled the matter. Xia Mo ended up fainting in the end so Gu Jiangyuan took him home, where he and his little brother was treated. During the treatment for Xia Zhao, the soul compass Gu Jiangyuan uses to look for Lu Yi moved, it shooket him to the core (I cant help it lmao). He began suspecting him since then. The brothers returned to their apartment, when another anomaly presented itself. After a blackout, Xia Mo saw a Sadako, went to the next door, and found Gu Jiangyuan who just finished bathing (*nosebleed* the towel should've slid down). They confronted the Sadako who turned out to be a man, with another man, and a crimson lady. Three of them were haunting the place as it had a bad fengshui. They weren't exactly like the others Xia Mo confronted, so he used the white version of the《Hundred Gosts》to help them move on. He then invited Gu Jiangyuan to eat with them, who found the dish familiar, he offered to house the siblings, and suggested a nursery under their association after being rejected. Xia Mo didn't want his little brother to feel abandoned again, so he decided to go forward by taking Xia Zhao with him to work, which he couldn't put off any longer. He contacted the director, and after a long confrontation, the role will be decided between him and his previous band mate, whoever is the better actor. He won. In Gu Jiangyuan's side, he saw the video of Xia Mo's acting sent by his friend in the set and compared them to Lu Yi's, which confirmed his initial suspicions, and her teared up. News that Xia Mo went missing arrived, and he flew instantly (with his motor lmao). He arrived at the set and opened the class A domain. Xia Mo, who was previously attempted murder by his ex band mate and got sucked into the domain by the creepy gold Buddha on his Boss' stomach, became the editor of the script he was about to shoot. The story is about two brothers, the righteous big brother and a timid little brother who became a villain later on. As he ghosts were about to get him, he was protected by a paper Gu Jiangyuan, which was given by the person himself earlier. The two was able to contact each other using the paper versions of themselves. The next day, Xia Mo went out to interview the story's protagonist, and encountered the little brother, who he followed and discovered him burying a dead poisoned animal by the river, with kids throwing stones at him, he ran away and left a manuscript behind. Xia Mo was chased by night ghosts to his apartment in the domain, then the previous original editor Sheng Zheng took fancy of the manuscript and asked Xia Mo to introduce him to the writer. Xia Mo was reluctant since the guy was most likely the domain boss, but he still had to collect information on him, so he did. Turns out he was actually quite a darling. It's that his parents are abusive to him and his brother is manipulating him to clean up after his dark hobbies. 80 072824 Anyways this story truly made me go "OH HELLL NAWWW" several times when the ghosts appear lmao they were actually creepy, and portrayed really well. You almost can't see strong women in bl! I love how the author never portrayed women as weak damsels in distress or only think with their lower halves. I LOVE THIS! Those babies below complain because they don't know what makes up a character's personality, clearly uneducated. Not was raised in a way that clearly made him the way he is, it's annoying to most but for me it actually gives life to the story. (Plus I'm not sure why I didn't get annoyed)
