Hey, Prince!
Decent fun read but too wishy washy with lukewarm plot.
The Omega Takes a Husband
Has the same feel as "How my daddies became mates" which is also an omegaverse with both strong characters ending as a couple, which is also coincidentally advertised by the translators of this work. Soooo good! I absolutely like this pairing with the lowkey possessive alpha who's determined to control his own impulse and the no-nonsense omega who can get worked up to fight well beyond his heat, the plot just fell smoothly with just enough tension sprinkled within.
Mad Cinderella
this dragged on too long for my taste. It's cute, it really is, and it's from sensei who is great at making this dynamic of uke and seme who are crazy for each other without it coming off as too cringy and overbearing, however this was just not for me, when the author said that this was an idea that they had as a student, it totally made sense because everything was just so wishy washy and the issues pop in n outta nowhere, I mean that kidnapping plot was rolled 3 times, what even is that? characters are good enough but I just couldn't care much for them; Honto Yajuu is a bit wishy washy too but at least that one was episodic and I dunno just made more sense plotwise? the characters introduced were also given enough panels for the readers to be invested in them, same characters were also dynamic unlike here where they are just flat, the seme is a horny, obsessive type from the beginning, the uke is a goody two shoes til the end, the other characters, they're basically just mobs who were given features instead of just blobs (maybe it was the author's way of practicing their illustration, dunno?)
