Really cute and nice artstyle, decent plot but the execution and phasing is off. Throughout this story, there have been questions and answers but they don't really match with each other. Like why was the brother mad at the uke? he says it's coz he's a disgrace due to being a bastard, so shouldn't the conflict be more on him lowkey getting jealous since the uke's illegitimate and so has the privilege of being a Gojou but none of the pressure? but no, the real conflict is bcoz as a child, the uke accidentally exposed him and the butler doing the deed; another is the butler's overprotectiveness, why was he doing it and why was he controlling the uke? the best I can come up with is coz he's protecting him from the brother so he wants him to be successful so he has less to say, BUT he knows, and the uke knows that the brother is legit still in love with him, they even reaffirmed this at the end with that waiting dialogue, so wouldn't it be safe to say he has a strong pull towards the brother if he just talked to him about being nicer to the uke? Another is the seme, it's good that he's expressive unlike most semes that are just blocks of poker faces, however, I don't really feel this seme loving the uke, infatuation, perhaps, coz he finds him beautiful, that's about it. Also the uke, basing his love for the seme just coz he called him beautiful that one time is equally stupid in my book. I also can't fathom how he's supposed to be this high class ultra fantastic lawyer but he caves at the slightest of provocation, like if you want to make him a pitiful character make him one all the way, don't be half-assed. It would make better sense if the seme was a more capable lawyer, really and the uke seeks out his help, that could be their bonding moment, and could also explain why the brother keeps treating him as a disappointment. Anyway, I was more invested with the brother x butler subplot in this one. 3/5

strong 4, not bad at all, just not something for me, leads were written like men with neither being overtly masculine nor overtly feminine. I like that the seme totally has an uke vibe around him but it doesn't feel forced and it still works, would be better though if they switch. I dunno, I just want it for the party who's more persistent to be the bottom coz if you're the one who wants it so bad in the first place, then you ought to take most of the strain for that activity too, that's my logic behind that preference. also seke couples in BL are extremely rare, this could've been one of those gems, it has great potential. What I don't like in this though is that the women here are treated like nothing, not even human, the few interactions they have with them, they're always rude to them for no good reason, and eventhough both leads got married (and then divorced), the women they married were treated like tools for their own little childish games, not even for the sake of reproduction, nor inheritance, or something majorly significant, it's just due to some petty reason that's all about one another n crap. I'm also not a fan of instantly turning 180 after the establishment of relations, specially for works like this one where the development took years to bear fruit, it just seems off for me, like I'm not reading the same story with the same characters. Anyway, I couldn't attach myself much either to the characters nor plot, which is why the most I can give for it is 4, I actually think 3.5 is better but I like the art style.
