3.5/5 I like the tension, the uke is a tsundere sort that's also borderline yandere coz of the way he treats rivals. I thought I'd love this, since I'm into assertive bottoms and he's actually taller/appears more masculine than the seme which is subversive. However, it was just the uke being manipulative althroughout the story, there's no development for him whatsoever, no realization either that he should cherish the seme more coz why would he, everything in the plot goes his way. The gf, well ex-gf was actually nice, I hope she stuck with the seme instead, like fight the bishy uke instead of being a typical whiny girl in yaoiworld, or the seme could just choose the girl instead. How this pair remained close friends, I'll never know. The uke is legit making himself unavailable whenever the seme is free, and only gives him attention/bothers him whenever he gets a gf, like, I know he's supposed to be a tsundere, but my guy, aren't you also supposed to be in love with the dude? How can you risk being out of touch with him? say, he never got another gf, does that mean he wouldn't contact or hang out with him again? Another thing, the seme is also a pushover who never actually learned til the end but at least he's more sincere than the uke, like he legit might fall in love with him in the long run, whereas the uke just looks like he's obsessed and wouldn't budge for the meantime. Definitely not a romance in my book.
Red Theatre
why the freak is this rated so looooww?!! I skipped this becoz of the rating and comments, but this is defo my cup of tea, everyone is just so messed up and demented but not messed up just to be edgy and different from other stories, the narrative for this is just bliss, sometimes it seems the pacing is too fast, but all in all I am still satisfied. This one is truly a psychological trip, a lot of possessiveness and obsession for careers, ambitions, other people. Yet another reason why I put sensei in such high regards, they're really able to pull off this kind of stories well, matter of fact I actually prefer it to their fluffy ones (tho I still enjoy those a lot too). On a different note, in the earlier chapters, the seme and uke really reminded me of the older brother and the uke from sensei's other work "Gosan no Heart" and not just the character design, the behavior too coz the uke there is also possessive and clingy, and the older bro (tho he's also an uke) is also the obsessive sort that knows how to play it cool for appearance.

Gakuen Tengoku - Sore Wa Koi Desu Koizumi-kun
3.5/5 mental uke x kinda delinquent seme. Uke chases, seme rejects, nothing happens except for the seme being raped by uke in the first chapter.
Ikenie Monzenbarai
oh my goodness this is soo nice ekekekek a rare, properly made tsundere seme, who's also not a prick just because he can't express his thoughts properly. And the uke is so confident but earnest at the same time, it's such a nice combination, he's also highly positive but not presented as an airhead, that's good in my books. Also, I like how they strive to make the relationship work in their own way after its established, no turning into a different character all of the sudden, like the seme is still a tsundere so when he flirts, the uke doesn't even realize it lol. Everyone is so likeable, and I like how the brother is not paired with someone and is just existing like how a snake-based deity should, it's so fun, also the pit viper servant compliments the story well too, no thrown characters or plot or motives, everything makes sense, even the lore backing up the whole sacrificial thing. Still can't get over that goat as one of the Uzumaki sacrifice, like did some ancestor really did it with a goat and it conceived it as the eldest born? or was it just the uke being delirious from being nailed for a few days straight? lmao. Definitely looking forward to the sequel, I think they're gonna have a kid at some point coz apparently it's possible, can't wait how this continues.
My Dear Agent
so, so good with both likeable seme and uke who are complex int their own ways and just feels so dynamic in their actions and drives. Genuinely enjoyed reading this, one of those works that I didn't want to end.
