The Baby Land Lord Is Retiring

Ongoing | 삼백화,필명,300flowers , Studio Nini | 2019 released

It's a NO for me. There's just too much things happening, too many ideas. Thr pacing is confusing and you just don't know where the story should focus and where is leading. For God's sake we're already at chapter 40, at this point things were supposed to happen for a reason. The whole there's no architects anymore so the building are crumbling is very dumb. I know it's an important job but I'm pretty sure there are other math an engineering base jobs that can help with it. Just because the emperor in ONE empire killed one class job, doesn't mean it's doomed forever. Sure it might affect really bad on the economy, but it doesn't mean the whole world is devastated. Not only there's neighbors countries that I'm pretty sure might have a few architects to spare, that's a math based job. Which means that math itself is not gone!! We still have engineers and builder and other professions like this that can fill in, not perfectly, but relatively well the architects stop. The use of magic and the elemental spirits is not necessary. It just fils in the magical tag. Till now it hasn't show to be useful of interesting. The magical ring is one of the few things that I like. It brings mystery as to why she was given that and how she got reincarnated. Unfortunately the other magic aspects like she getting older and other magics are not that interesting. Overall this novel tries to create this fantasy world. But it just results in poor world building. Mc being abandoned doesn't bring much sympathy to the story either. Its like " trauma is relatable right? Oh she suffered abuse as a kid so we should pit her" You know which novel this reminds me? Lady baby. Except it bored me earlier than lady baby. Also the MC here is just 3, and later 6. That's a kid, the adult were supposed to be skeptical about it not just clap their hands and guess everything is okay. Th dad is okaay...? He did neglect the daught which is a minus very bad. But he also is compensating for his mistake. He's cute with his seriousness and protective father actions but unfortunately there are lots of more charming fathers in other novels. Blame os the over saturated isekai genre.

I'll Be The Matriarch In This Life

Ongoing | Kim Roah, Ant Studio,Gammon | 2000 released

One of the best novels ever. The story is interesting. It has great world building. The art is great. It has one of the best female leads in isekai reincarnation manhwa genre. Tia is very smart but not totally OP. She can be very relatable and has a good backstory that justify greatly her actions. Not to mention how amazing her family is. Props to her dad, Gallahan is the best!! He's cute, sweet, gentle and cares a lot for Tia. Both him and Tia have great character development through the story.
